Today, my 8-month-old dog decided to decorate the living room by tearing apart a rented college textbook, the reference guide that went with it, and part of a color therapy book. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my dog tore up a single book from the dozens within his reach. That book was titled "How to Train Your Dog". FML
Bad boy
Today, my husband left our untrained puppy out of its kennel when he left for work. I got home and all of the baby books my parents just bought for us that were on the coffee table in a backpack were completely destroyed, along with the bag, and parts of our wall. FML
Where there's a will…
Today, my little Pomeranian dog got onto the kitchen bench by jumping onto the washing basket, the bookcase, and over the window sill, and ate my daughter's birthday cake while I was in the bathroom. FML
Bad doggo!
Today, I came home to find that my dog had destroyed my couch. The worst part? He buried his plastic toy bone inside the wreckage, so he clearly thinks this is his new personal sandbox play pit spot. I'm afraid to get a new couch and put it in the same place. FML
An Expensive Snack
Today, my girlfriend's 2lb chihuahua ate 500 dollars worth of textbook. FML
Get down!
Today, I got a brand new couch. My husband told me to keep our puppy off of it so we could keep it nice. She jumped on it, and as I picked her up to put her back on the floor, her claws dragged across it and ripped two of the cushions. FML
Parenting fail
Today, I left the living room for 3 minutes to make a coffee. When I went back, my 4-year old had found a permanent marker, God knows where, since I don't own a permanent marker. She'd then drawn on her face, the carpet, wall, sofa, both dogs and as an added bonus the TV screen. FML
Today, my dog got his head stuck in a container, panicked, and shat himself all over the living room. FML
Today, after spending hours wrapping the presents for Christmas, I came back into the room to find that my dog had lost his toy, knocked over all the presents, and was frantically ripping at everything to find it. FML
Clever boy
Today, I came home to find my dog had learned how to open our fridge. He ate the birthday cake I was saving for a friend's surprise party, and to add insult to injury, he'd also apparently thrown the barely digested cake up all over my bed. FML

One of those rare cases where the dog actually did eat the homework.

YDI It for not watching a young and poorly trained dog. That does suck though so good luck with college.

Who says the dog is poorly trained? When my dog was that age, he certainly got into stuff he shouldn't have. Hell, he's 2 now and will still get into things occasionally. Training a dog is a LIFELONG process.

if you can't trust em, you can't leave the stuff where they can get it.

He'll be the next Mr. Peabody before you know it.

And the therapy book. He's now the perfect balance between mental and psychological health.

If you know the ibn number you might be able to find it used for a reasonable price unlikely, but possible. O and maybe finding a pen or something for your dog when you're not around? Idk good luck figuring everything out though OP.

NEVER NEVER NEVER give a dog a pen. #1 choking hazard #2 ink. ink everywhere. you give a dog a bone, preferably a large hard to chew through in a single day type of bone!

Wow.. Pen as in a small enclosure. Not pen as in a writing instrument. Smh

Why is the dog's age necessary to mention?
LilMissCanadian 22
Yes. The fact that the dog is young shows that it is most likely not trained.

maybe your dog is trying to tell you he needs therapy.

Who needs therapy when you have a dog. Maybe that's what he was trying to tell you.
