Today, marks the fourth straight night that my girlfriend has screamed and cried in fear, scratching and kicking me in her sleep. The reason? I took her to see Paranormal Activity 3. FML

Today, my girlfriend and I went to see a horror movie. It ended up scaring her so badly that she refused to leave our bed all night long, even to pee. I have to clean the mattress now. FML
Today, I went to see the latest Paranormal Activity movie with my mother. We were terrified and held hands at one point. The person sitting behind us thought it would be hilarious to abruptly scream into my mother's ear. She reacted by flailing and driving her arm straight into my face. FML
Today, I went to see Paranormal Activity 2 with my boyfriend. In hopes of him putting his arm around me or holding my hand, I told him that I was very scared and pretended to cry a little. He told me to be quiet because I was ruining the movie for him. Then he moved seats. FML
Today, and ever since my girlfriend and I watched the movie Obsession, she now thinks it's funny to watch me sleep, screams "STAAAAY!!" whenever I move when we're cuddling, and stands still by the door with a giant smile whenever I come home. FML
Today, I asked a girl I like to the movies. Wanting her to lean on me and stay in my arms during the movie, I chose a horror film. I screamed like a pussy the whole time. FML
Today, after my girlfriend had a nightmare this morning, I stayed home because she has really bad anxiety issues. A couple of hours later, she's pissed because I said I would stay up, but I fell asleep. FML
Today, I took my girlfriend to a scary movie, hoping I could comfort her at a scary part. Instead when a scary part came on, she reacted by throwing up all over my lap and the person in front of us. FML
Today, my mother thought it would be funny to sneak into my room at night and scream like a demon, after I'd explained to her how scared I was of The Exorcist movie I had just seen. She claims it wasn't her. FML
Today, I was watching a horror movie with my girlfriend. Suddenly, the killer jumped on screen. My girlfriend screamed. I pissed myself. FML
Today, I was having a movie night with my significant other. I suggested a classic horror movie binge, and she agreed. However, as soon as the movie started, she fell asleep and started snoring louder than a chainsaw. It's hard to take scary movies seriously with the sounds of a chainsaw going on, I tell you. FML

I don't think hitting and scratching would do much good against a paranormal entity, but maybe that's just me.

Some people don't handle scary movies as well as others. That movie is terrifying to some and ridiculously lame to others. The night after I saw the first Paranormal Activity, I was up until 4am. I was pretty freaked out for about a week afterwards, but I calmed down after that. Just wait it out...But maybe make her sleep on the couch in the meantime to avoid further injury. :P

I saw it. I'm not a scary movie kinda girl, but I was like, "Okay, I saw the other 2. It can't be thaaaaat bad." I was wrong. I'd honestly be doing the exact same thing as your GF is, but when I'm awake I'd be prepared. Wanna know why? I watch Supernatural. I can deal with that shit if it came around. *lolz*

Honestly, the movie didn't scare me. It gave me shivers but otherwise, the movie just gave me a good thrill ride. The movie was good except for the ending

those movies suck and arent even scary only reason ppl flip is cause its stupidly quiet the whole movie except parts that make you flinch. watch a real horror movie like The Thing (prequel) or even 1982 one.
