I feel bad for you my friend. Don't put sex on a pedistal (sp?), you're only setting yourself up to be let down. The first time is sad, awkward and it doesn't matter who it's with, it isn't special. Of course you remember your first time, but only because it scars you for life.

Reputation is a really stupid thing to worry about. As long as the OP is being careful and using (good) condoms then that's the most anyone really can do. I agree if it's hurting her self esteem she should think about it but it sounds like she's having fun.
