Today, I woke up to my little sister strangling me. My parents accused me of making the red marks on my throat myself to exaggerate how bad it was. She's just "going through a phase", they say, and I'm a bad person for punching her to get her off me. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, my 7-year-old sister had a nightmare, so I let her sleep in my bed. I woke up to her punching me in the face and giving me a black eye. Apparently, she not only screams when she's having a nightmare, she also "gives the bad guy a taste of his own medicine." FML
Today, my little sister chased me around the house with a mallet, giggling like a maniac. I ended up having to pin her to the ground, rip the mallet out of her hand and lock her in the bathroom. This isn't the first time. My mom still insists it's perfectly normal. FML
Today, I woke up to my bratty younger sister cutting through my hair with a pair of scissors. I now look like a freak, and my mum bitched me out for being angry, all because my sister claimed she'd been sleep-walking. Her demented smirk said otherwise. FML
Today, my demented little sister walked up to me and kicked me between the legs. I told my parents, but they just accusingly asked me what I did to provoke her. When I said, "Nothing", they accused me of lying. There is no justice. FML
Today, I was sitting on my younger sister's bed while I was on my phone. She came in the room and pushed me off the bed, and I ended up slicing the skin under my eye. Now, my parents are forcing me to pay for the injury for "hanging off the bed". FML
Today, I was woken by my younger sister punching me in the balls. She also pulled the duvet off, and dragged me out of bed by my feet and onto the floor. All because I ate her chocolates, which were a gift. I was left writhing in pain in my underwear right in front of her. FML
Today, my bratty sister shoved me overboard during a boat ride. Not ten seconds after being pulled back on board, I got an earful of abuse from my parents. My sister is the family favorite and they refuse to believe that I didn't "provoke" her. FML
Today, I was rushed to hospital with two ribs sticking out of my chest, with blood everywhere, but did I get sympathy from my sister? No, I got accused of being hit by a forklift on purpose to ruin her birthday party, then she tried to rip my bandages off to "prove I was faking the whole thing" and split my stitches. FML
Today, my sister and I had a fight. In her rage, she threw piles of dirty laundry at me. One of her bloody panties hit me on the face. FML
Today, I have to deal with being laughed at by my mother and sister, because they keep making sharp movements towards me, causing me to flinch. This is because I got mugged and beaten last night. They think it's hysterical. FML

Your sister and parents need some serious help if they don't believe you and accusing you of doing stupid shit. I would leave as soon as you get a chance

How old is your sister? Even if I knew and it was still a small child, I do not believe it's appropriate behaviour for any child to be doing that and should not just be shrugged off as a phase.

Lock your door and make sure to call the cops on her if and when she attacks you again. If your parents aren't going to do something about her you will have to do take measures to protect yourself. There is a difference between going through a phase and possibly ignoring signs of a serious problem.

Do the same to her and then when she goes and tells your parents that you left those marks on her just say she's exaggerating then they'll see your point and if they don't believe you say oh but you don't believe my marks?

It's okay, when I was in the fifth grade someone stabbed me with a pen and it left a cut all the way down my back, I punched him in the face and I got sent to the office for violence and sent to therapy for self harm, they still don't believe me when I say that I didn't do that to myself and just randomly punched someone

I'm trying to figure out why they'd think you were self-harming. It's a wound on your back, which would be really difficult for you to reach. People generally self-harm by cutting their wrists and occasionally other easy to reach areas, not their back.
