Today, I was volunteering at a soup kitchen and was advised to leave my wallet and cell phone in my car so they wouldn’t be stolen. Someone broke into my car and stole them. FML

“Alright, here comes another volunteer. Johnny, you ‘advise’ them to leave their wallet in the car then keep them occupied, and I’ll smash the windows!”

leave them in the trunk or glove compartment, rather than in view on the car seat. If they were hidden, that's just bad luck :/

Pockets are a good idea. You should use them. Never keep belongings like that in your car since people are assholes and like to steal your hard earned items.

YDI I'd you simply left them out in the open. (On the seat, on op of the dashboard, etc.)
