Today, I was told that I am an incredibly boring person and that it's no wonder I have no friends. I think they're right; last night I dreamt about a nail file. FML

Today, I asked my friends what they thought was my biggest problem. All of them responded, "You're boring." I don't deny it, and I certainly did ask, but… Ouch. FML
Today, my friend needed to talk out bad feelings. Then she urged me to open up as well. I hate doing it, but it only seemed fair, so I confessed my deep insecurities. Not only did she agree with everything, but she also helpfully added that I'm boring, have no life, and all my dreams are unattainable. FML
Today, yet again I was made to feel how talentless and boring of a person I am. I have great academic achievements, making me one among the top 0.02% youth of my country, but am so uninteresting and introverted that people don't want to be friends with me. FML
Today, I fell asleep and dreamed that I had won $500,000. In my dream, I used this money to buy a new MP3 Player, and then put the rest in a term deposit. Even in my dreams, I'm the most boring person I know. FML
Today, I was checking my friends' posts on Facebook and all of them were complaining what a boring night they had. They were all just at my house. FML
Today, I woke up and realized that the "nice dream" I'd had was just about talking to people. FML
Today, my cousins and I were bored so we began talking about weird dreams we've had. My little cousin turns to me and says "I had a dream you were in a beauty contest. You lost badly". FML
Today, I had a conversation about how my day was, while dreaming. That’s how lonely I am. FML
Today, I found out that my entire family thinks I have no friends, am expressionless (to quote, "a robot") and that my monotonous voice hints at the suppressed depression hidden deep inside me. According to them, I need psychic evaluation. It all came out during a family reunion. FML
Today, I realised I have no friends circle to call my own, no motivation to conquer the day, and no confidence to put my life back together, all because I failed the test that could get me closer to my dream job. FML

Really 35? IMO I prefer those nights when you shut your eyes and it seems a second later you open them and it's day. And just to clarify, I know you do dream all the time, just sometimes it seems you didn't cause you don't remember them.

it's okay OP. Growing up I had no friends either. My mom said I wasn't allowed to have friends because then I would become drug addicted like all the kids these days. And then I turned 38 and moved out.

your dreams are like your brain sorting through all the information its taken in over the course of the day (or since you last slept properly) so they reflect what youve thought about and found out and seen and heard etc...so if you have an interesting life youre probably more likely to have interesting dreams than someone who has a boring life. on the other hand, you dont remember all your dreams so you might only knowingly dream about really boring stuff even if you had a really interesting day and vice versa. so you guys are both right sort of...
