Today, I was playing musical chairs at a family reunion. It's a well known fact that I'm competitive and tend to hip check people to get that last chair. It came down to me and The Nana. I won. The Nana has a broken hip. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, while at a family gathering, I sat down in a chair and it broke. Embarrassed, I picked myself up and sat down in another chair. That one broke too. I'm now the "fat girl" of the family despite weighing 90 pounds. FML
You tried
Today, after my sister's wedding, a bunch of people were dancing. I noticed my grandma sitting alone and looking sad. My grandpa died last month, so feeling bad for her, I asked if she'd like to dance with me. She seemed a lot happier, until I accidentally caused her to fall and break her arm. FML
Today, during a family reunion, my 89 year-old grandma stood up and drunkenly made a speech about how ashamed I should be of myself for still being single. She then passed out at the table. Half my family got up to help her, the other half whispered in agreement. FML
Today, I was at a party, and I sat down on a chair. While conversing with friends, I shifted places on the chair, and broke it. Embarrassed, I then stood up and change chairs. After moving to the next chair, I broke that one too. FML
Today, I witnessed my drunk grandmother attempting the Single Ladies dance, complete with hip gyrations and ass slapping. FML
Bingo is serious business
Today, I was visiting my grandmother at her retirement community. Bingo is really popular there and she loves it, so I went thinking it would be a fun activity for us. I won the jackpot and my car got keyed by a group of angry old people. FML
Today, I actually slipped on a banana peel, cartoon-style, breaking my kneecap and dislocating my hip. I will never hear the end of this. FML
Today, an old lady steamrolled over my foot with her wheelchair, then laughed as she slowly rolled away, leaving my toes in ruins. FML
Public freakout!
Today, I playfully nudged my friend on the shoulder. She countered by shoving me head-first into a trash can. FML
Today, I was hanging out with my friends when I tripped and a chair rolled over my foot, breaking a bone. A friend, who didn't believe me, then dogpiled on top of me and laughed as I screamed. FML

Before calling someone stupid, you might want to correctly spell words.

she shouldnt be in the finals if she doesn't know how to hip check already...

Because no one else is stupid enough to hip check an elderly lady.

I completely understand. I think everyone knows that you would not do something like that on purpose. It is just one of those things that is an instinct for a competitive person. I am sorry for your nana, I hope she is okay, and I hope that your family understands.

It says 'a family reunion' and 'the Nana' I'm pretty sure it's someone else's family and not her Nana. That's not okay.

How do you accidentally hip check someone, especially with you mention that you're competitive & that you're known for hip checking.

#85 Maybe they rely on instinct?

I really don't understand how anyone can understand OP. It is FNana'sL, not OP's, because OP is a person who obviously lacks not only manners, but affection as well. If she was, God forbid it, part of my family, you could be sure she'd be excluded from any kind of competative activities, unitl she learns to behave.

This is why I think growing up it's important for kids to pick a sports because 10, 20 years down the road when they play backyard football, they become all crazy and serious like it's win or nothing.

It would've been hilarious if it ended with, "Nana won, and she has a broken hip." Just my thought.
