Today, I was performing in the musical 'Cabaret'. I was playing a Nazi soldier, swastika armband and all. Someone thought it would be funny to take my real clothes while I was on stage. I had to walk a mile back my house with my costume on. Someone threw eggs at me. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I had a theatre performance. I had to put on a lot of makeup for the role, and one of the guys said I looked nice. I smiled and said thanks. Seconds later, I'd been sucker-punched by his girlfriend for "flirting" with her man. FML
Today, I was taking a crap in a public stall when three kids broke down the door and pelted me with eggs. FML
Today, I went to a Halloween party dressed in Charlie Brown's ghost costume, a white sheet with holes all over. I got beat up for dressing like a member of the KKK. FML
Today, while at work at my grocery store I sold a TON of eggs to a bunch of kids. We joked around that they were "going to bake a giant cake." When I got home I found out someone had egged my house. FML
Today, it's Halloween. I get bullied every day and this was no exception, but this time I got beat up so hard I bled. Everyone thought it was part of my costume. FML
Halloween has started early
Today, while walking down the street, I was violently beaten up by a man in a Darth Vader outfit. FML
Today, I had to play the role of Superman in a production on stage. They had to stuff my underwear because my 'thing' wasn't big enough. FML
Today, I played a goth character in my friend's student film with goth clothes, lip ring, eyeliner, etc. We went into Starbucks at break and an elderly man came up to me and said "Your kind is the reason for all the bad stuff in this world" and then spat in my $5 drink. FML
Drama! Action!
Today, I had a graded performance in my drama class. I had to play a murderer in an interrogation room. I got really into it and started pounding on the windows to try to "escape". The thin glass smashed. Four hours in casualty, stitches and plastic surgery pretty much sum up my mood. FML
Exhaustion
Today, I was working at Chuck-E-Cheese. If that isn't enough, I was put in the mouse costume. Due to the disgusting hot smell and atmosphere in the costume, I fainted in front of a birthday party. I awoke to a little boy screaming who then kicked me in the face and ran. FML

take off the armband. unbutton the top button on the coat. it'll still look weird, but it won't look like you're about to start goose-stepping down the sidewalk yelling "mein fuhrer!!!".

Even if they took the armband off, someone could still Identify the outfit as Nazi, Most of the uniform designs are easily recognized. the costume department might have been stupid and sewn on the armband if there was one, or the kids who took his clothes could have glued the. from what I've heard, summer nights In Missouri can fall into the 50's. So it could have been chilly out. Also, I would assume that if they were walking the mile home, in an SS uniform, they probably weren't able to get a ride from a friend.

That sucks. You seriously could've been killed.

I guess you never considered that someone might happen to be carrying eggs with them. Say, from a grocery store.

No matter what was sewn on, the jacket could have still been taken off and held, turned inside out, or even the entire top half left there, or another costume worn home, borrowed a friends jacket, etc.. There were so many choices to go with, actually wearing the uniform was probably the worst one. And kudos for the person who was bright enough to have a cache of eggs handy to throw at people impersonating Nazi officers. Or did you pass by an egg factory?

I would've thrown an egg at you. maybe even a chair.
