Today, I was introduced to my future stepmother, but it turns out that I already know her. Not only are we the same age and went to the same high school, when we were in the same math class together the teacher would often confuse our names because "we could pass as twins". FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I met my soon-to-be step mother. My dad was right, we had a lot in common. Including our birth year. FML
Today, my dad introduced me to my half-sister. He'd only recently found out that he had another daughter by another woman, and had only just met her. She and I have been in the same class in school for the past three years. FML
Today, I was paired up with my long-term crush for a project. She introduced herself to me and asked if I was new this year. We've gone to the same school since kindergarten. FML
Today, there's a new freshman at my school that looks exactly like me. Whenever we see her, my friends shout "Twinzies!" I don't have anything against her, but I'm bummed because I'm a male senior. FML
Today, I just found out that my ex girlfriend is gonna be my step mother. FML
Today, I walked into my new maths class. I stepped inside only to be yelled at by the teacher for nearly 15 minutes. I was then told never to enter her class again and was sent to the principal. My identical twin brother was in her class the period before me. He also has a thing for older women. FML
Family matters
Today, I met this girl who's perfect. Turns out, since I'm adopted, she might be my sister. FML
Today, I made a friend on an online chat. We got along fairly well and even traded Facebook accounts. I found out that the two of us had a lot of very surprising things in common. We were the same age, we were from the same school, and we even had the same boyfriend. FML
Today, while out with my family, I happened to run into "the one who got away." She smilingly introduced herself to my wife, who definitely noticed that she and our daughter share the same name. FML
I get around
Today, I found out my 11 year-old's best friend, who is two months older than her, is also her sister. FML

Not exactly a good thing maybe

Or maybe he's still pining over his ex wife and thinks his ex wife is hot, and his daughter just happens to look a lot like her real mom. That's a slightly more optimistic option at least.

I agree. Apart from this scenario being highly unlikely, if the OP is truly from Australia, wouldn't they have said "Maths" class instead of "Math" class. This is either a typo, or a lack of knowledge of the Australian school system.

We say both in Australia, and even if we didn't it would still have been a pretty stupid assumption to make.

the point is that a dad is ussually at least 16 years older, so it is rare that a girl will fall for him. and even when there are exceptions, the chance of the girl being in your class and looks like your twin is as good as zero
canucksrule88 0
actually the chances might be higher because same school/class means they were probably friends and therefore its more likely that the dad would know her

I fall into the habit of saying Math. I only started saying it in Canberra, which has a shitload of foreigners living there. Elsewhere, its called maths. Btw, thats what you get for being northside (making the assumption of course). No solid southsider would fall for a daughters friend.

Ew gross i feel bad for you.

Are all of you retarded? The OP probably has her MOM's looks. If her dad fell for someone that looks like her, it is probably because she reminds him of his former wife. It doesn't automatically mean he has the hots for his actual daughter.

actually, Me and my best friend are practically Identical, but no blood relations. We're always mistaken for each other o-o

wow... that's really suckish and I agree... FYL... nobody wants a mom that has the same math class as you (and possibly age). and i agree with the other comments be careful so that ur dad doesn't accidently(?) try to make out with you. dye your hair or something... wish you luck kid..
Rixxieee 0
pretty much guaranteed that they're the same age if they're in the same maths class. Not saying it's a definite, but it's highly likely. OP: Move out ASAP

Uggggggghhhh...that just makes my stomach turn. How awkward it would be to have conversations with your "new mom"...time to have a serious conversation with your dad.

Oh my stars. Dye your hair, and pick a new favourite colour for clothes. Lock your bedroom door at night. And during the day. Oh, and move far, far away as soon as is possible.
