Today, I was hit by a car speeding through an intersection after the light had already turned red. Still partly blacked out, I crawled onto the sidewalk and I sat down. The woman rolled down her car window and yelled, "Watch where you're going!" as she drove by. FML

Today, I was in a car accident. After screaming at the woman for running into me, I got in my car and drove off. As I was driving away, I was staring her down when I ended up rear-ending the person in front of me. FML
Today, while I was walking to class, I was hit by a car. The driver stopped to let me cross in front of her, started moving again, hit me, and then yelled at me, saying it was my fault for walking in front of her. FML
Today, I was driving when a woman started crossing the street against the light at the upcoming intersection, so I slammed on the brakes and stopped short of hitting her. That's when she intentionally jumped onto my car and started screaming that I had "mowed her down". The cops believed her. FML
Today, a woman in an SUV rolled a stop sign and hit me, resulting in simultaneously twisting my foot in my bike and being knocked into oncoming traffic. Her excuse before I went to the ER? The sun was in her eyes. FML
Today, as I was driving home, I saw a woman get hit by a car. I immediately parked on the side of the road to assist her. I called an ambulance and stayed with her until they came to get her, comforting her all the while. When I returned to my car, I found a parking ticket in my windshield. FML
Today, at a red light, an old lady crossing the street fell right in front of my car. I got out of my car to help her. The light turned green and I was still helping the woman to her feet. An officer came by and ticketed me for "impeding the flow of traffic." FML
Today, while in the car with my mom, she gave me a lecture about how bad of a driver I am. During that process she ran a red light and hit a car. FML
Today, I got rear-ended. An old woman got out and came over to my car window. I thought she was coming to apologize and trade insurance companies. Instead, she poured her soda on my head, ran back into her car, and drove away. FML
Today, I was stopped in traffic when a woman rear-ended me, backed up, and sped off along the shoulder, taking my passenger side mirror with her. FML
Today, a car hit me. I didn't get hurt, but someone called 911. The old woman who had hit me got out of the car with no problem to look at me, and gets back into the car. When the police arrive, she pulls out crutches and said I made strange faces and made her hit me. I got blamed. FML

Hit and run is pretty hardcore illegal. I bet they can track her down and prosecute her. Geesh, people like her should be exiled so normal people don't have to deal with their jackassery.

It's that goddamn "women's lib" thing that they did a few decades ago. First they got the commies to start a war in Vietnam. Then they convinced our goverment to get involved. They sent a good deal of the men over there... so when the guys were all busy with the fightin and such, the women snuck in and changed the laws to give themselves "equal rights". This FML is bullshit. Nobody that was hit by a car is going to take time to put it on FML. You've just been hit by a CAR. Think about it. You would be in the hospital getting put back together. Not at home posting FMLs.

um, no, theres credibility to this, ive gotten hit by a car before, and i didnt go to the hospital to "get put back together". i went home, and ate tylenol. believe it or not, a person can survive a pretty hard impact,

I'm not sure I believe this. As someone mentioned before, it would be pretty difficult for the OP to be hit, crawl to the sidewalk, and then have the driver be close enough to hear the statement she made. Second of all, depending on the speed, I think the injuries would be a little too severe to be on here, unless this happened a while ago. Third, also depending on the speed, the OP probably wouldn't have lived. At 40 mph, the chance of a pedestrian living is only 10%. If the driver was speeding, it probably would've been over 40mph, meaning the OP most likely would have died. http://www.stoppingdistances.org.uk/facts/speed.htm Just so people aren't asking for a source. And I'm also really tired of people saying that women shouldn't be driving and should get back in the kitchen. Well, it does sound as if you didn't do a very good job of watching where you were going, otherwise you might've noticed a speeding car that hadn't stopped. You should be more careful, even if she is a crook and a menace. File a police report and include any and all information you can give about the hit-and-run.
