Today, I was drinking from a cup with a built-in straw. After taking a long sip, I noticed a weird taste. Upon investigation, I found a small caterpillar wedged inside the straw. FML

I've heard of worms and scorpions, but caterpillars in a drink? who doesn't Love a little extra fuzz in their beverage of choice?

What's the problem? You got a tasty drink and possibly a new pet! Optimism

Hahahahahahahaha a new pet :'D the cutest piece of optimism I have ever heard

Suck it up OP, don't be a baby

Sucking up a possibly poisonous/nasty catapillar doesn't seem like a good idea to me. I doubt OP is on Man vs. Wild, so he doesn't need the nutrition either.

Sugary drinks attract bugs...better than a hornet or a bee right?

Taste like chicken.

Today, my friends talked me into getting on a new ride at the water park, but I became lodged in and had to be removed with suction. FML

Imagine what the situation was like from the caterpillar's perspective!

That's gross. But that has me wondering....are there any butterflies in other cups/straws?

at least it was JUST a caterpillar!

This reminds me of a camp song... The littlest worm... I ever saw... Was stuck inside... My soda straw

When I read the FML, I thought, "Isn't there a kid's song about this very thing?" I couldn't remember it exactly, so I was hoping someone else would post about it. Thanks! :-) When I helped teach little ones, we'd teach them this song (and other fun songs like the baby bumblebee song).
