Today, I wanted to take my girlfriend to a nice dinner before prom. Her parents followed her in, and joined us to "keep an eye on me." They interrupted all our conversations, ate an expensive meal, then got up and walked out when the waitress brought the $95 check, leaving me to pay for it. FML

it's ok you get them back while you **** their daughter

Only pay for your two meals and tell the restaurant the name and address of the two parents..

Thats amusing I must say.

slay them!

not entirely sure why, but your comment made me erupt in laughter. maybe it's the absurdity of it all. >.> |the kid|

If you were able to pay for the meal everything is okay. You probably gained some respect after that incident.

Clearly they don't respect him or they wouldn't have done that. Inviting yourself to dinner on someone else's tab is not a respectful move. FYL Two semi-unrelated comments: 1. $95 for four people seems a fair price, not the price of a "fancy" meal. Probably more than a secondary school student can afford easily though. 2. I thought dinner was served at prom. Is that not the case?

It is but he probably wanted to make the moment special and not have to share dinner with the whole grade

I think its worse for her.

Overprotective parents suck.
