Today, I walked past a girl giving out leaflets for a nightclub. She ignored me the first two times. I dismissed it cynically, thinking she was only giving them to good looking young people. The third time she gave one to a balding 40-year old guy with his pre-teen kid. She still ignored me. FML

Maybe its a club for ugly people OP!

You only walked my her two times, so of course she missed you. You need to parade past her repeatedly for at least six hours. That's what I do when I try to get someone's attention. It works wonderfully.

Why would this even upset you? If you wanted a leaflet that badly, you could always go up to her and, I don't know, ASK.

perhaps you dont look like you need it. the leaflets.

If you're that desperate, maybe you could pick up a leaflet that someone threw on the ground. Finders creepers, I mean keepers.

So let me get this straight, you walked past a girl giving out flyers (that most people use to sweep up garbage if they don't toss them before they get home) THREE times just to see if she would give you a *free* pamphlet?

She might have actually been avoiding you because she thought you were cute and didn't want to embarrass herself in some way. Or she just didn't see you. Or something. It's always something...

Perhaps she wants to hookup with the balding 40-year old guy with his pre-teen kid...
