Today, I let my 3-year-old daughter watch Finding Nemo on my phone while I made her lunch. I returned to find she had dropped my phone into the fish bowl so that her goldfish could see his friends. FML

Today, I saw my cat playing in the other room. Fascinated, I watched him for a few minutes before I realized he was playing with one of my daughter's fish. Well, what was left of it. FML

Today, I took my 5-year-old daughter to the play place at McDonald's but I had to keep her busy, instead of letting her play. A mom was teaching her 3-year-old daughter how to pole dance, using the play place's poles. FML

Maybe the tank or bowl should be placed somewhere the kid can't get it? I wouldn't trust a 3-year-old...

..... she's three! Give her a break, she prob doesn't even understand that fish can't be out of water. Sit her down and calmly explain. This isn't a FML or a YDI, this is a 'you're a parent, get over yourself and realize toddlers need things explained to them'!
