Today, at work, I stepped out for a few minutes to use the bathroom. Shortly after returning, I found out the hard way that one of my coworkers had used my computer to send a profanity-filled email to our boss, calling him an asshole and telling him to go fuck himself. I'm now jobless. FML
Today, my boss put me on suspension for violating company policy by having non-work related mail in my inbox. They were spam emails. FML
Today, my boss suspended me for laughing too hard at my desk and causing a big scene in front of our customers. I was laughing because he'd forwarded me a hilarious email. He was practically smirking as he handed me my official warning. FML
Today, I accidentally mistyped "one sec" as "one sex" in a group chat at work. I apologized and corrected myself immediately, but some bitch with too much free time was so offended that she reported me to HR anyway. I'm suspended while they look into it, and my girlfriend is convinced I did it on purpose. FML
Today, I spent an hour trying to log into my work email. I apparently kept typing the wrong password and eventually got locked out for 24 hours. My boss texted me five minutes later asking why I wasn’t responding to his emails. FML
Today, my girlfriend was suspended from work after she was caught fucking one of her co-workers. FML
Today, I got a harsh warning from my boss. I apologized because I was genuinely in the wrong. My girlfriend found out about it and sent my boss a message, threatening to kick her ass. I'm now suspended. Thanks babe. FML
Today, I was logging into my work computer. My account became locked due to the many failed attempts at typing my password. Thinking I was alone, I said, “Fuck this shit” while dragging the keyboard off my desk. Turns out my supervisor was in the other room. I'd forgotten I'd changed my password the other day. FML
Today, I finally had enough of my coworker mocking and misgendering my transgender daughter, so I screamed at him. I got written up and suspended without pay for 2 weeks. He got praise from our boss for handling the situation with class. FML
Today, I sent an email to my boss saying I'd fixed a glitch in our mail servers. He called me later, angrily shouting that I'd done a piss-poor job of fixing it, because my email had spammed his inbox with several hundred duplicate messages. FML

In the company I work for I can access everyone's email, plus more. Unless I reset the users password and log on as them it'll be hard to find out. In saying that, everything is logged from changing passwords to entering someone's mailbox.

105 - it really depends how large the company is. Where I am, access is separated. Some people have Domain Admin. Some people have custom. But there's a governing dept in HR who can see all logs :-)

And i agree with you, lashing out at someone because of that is definitely not the way to go, escalate the issue to your and her supervisors, let them deal with it. OP should also get to the bottom of this, tempering other people's email account is a serious offense.

Whoever sent those emails will get fired. File a complaint to the management and request an investigation, it's not hard to track through the email server logs

I wouldn't be surprised if it were the SysAdmin who did this to get back at you. I know it's frustrating when it takes a long time to get stuff set up, but losing your shit with her is NOT the way to go. Can you prove that you were not using your computer or your account at the time?
