Today, my boss suspended me for laughing too hard at my desk and causing a big scene in front of our customers. I was laughing because he'd forwarded me a hilarious email. He was practically smirking as he handed me my official warning. FML
Today, I walked into work, a day after losing my shit with our systems admin, due to her taking ages to enable my new email account. I was soon bitched out, warned, and suspended over several lewd emails having been sent overnight from my account to various female co-workers. FML
Today, at work, I received an email telling me that viewing porn websites was prohibited and was a good enough reason to fire me. FML
Today, my boss tried to fire me for not emailing him a screenshot to prove my email wasn't working. FML
Today, due to a change in our internal system, I set up an email filter at work that sent all incoming messages to spam. My boss had been sending me urgent updates all day, and I only realized when she came over and asked why I’d “gone radio silent.” FML
Today, I sent an email to my boss saying I'd fixed a glitch in our mail servers. He called me later, angrily shouting that I'd done a piss-poor job of fixing it, because my email had spammed his inbox with several hundred duplicate messages. FML
Today, at work, I stepped out for a few minutes to use the bathroom. Shortly after returning, I found out the hard way that one of my coworkers had used my computer to send a profanity-filled email to our boss, calling him an asshole and telling him to go fuck himself. I'm now jobless. FML
Today, my boss called me to say that I'm fired because I was "deliberately ignoring" the messages from a head of another department who wanted to contact me regarding some "urgent" (not really) project. I was on "Do not disturb" because it's my vacation, and this SOB is not even my boss anyway. FML
Today, my boss yelled at me for visiting Facebook on my work computer. He says that since I can't be trusted, I'll be supervised from now on. I was uploading pictures to the company's Facebook page, which I have to do once a week as part of my job. FML
Today, I had to go to work on my day off to suspend someone. Afterwards, I got a call saying I can't suspend the person in question because the supervisor who told me to suspend them was wrong. FML

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I'm just wondering, but doesn't usually spam not get sent unless the email is entered somewhere? So If OP was entering his work email on non work related websites he sorta deserves it. I could be wrong though.

If their email address is on the company website, a lot of spam-makers use harvesting programs to gather them from there

#7 no spam mail can be sent to you even if you haven't entered your email in an unsecured website. Maybe a friend of OP clicked something somewhere resulting in a 1000 spam messages from OP's friend. Result? OP does nothing, but still gets spammed.

Well you are right in a sense, but not exactly. Spam can find anyone, even if you only put your email on trusted sites. You would have to have a complicated username and not EVER enter your email anywhere for spam not to get to it. Spam bots search random websites for email names to send to.

Email doesn't need to stay in the mailbox to prove you got it. Email tracking logs can show you got unsolicited emails.

I think OP should just enter the bosses email into a website, perhaps a gay **** site, and let karma do its job. I'm sure the spam from that would be horrendous.
