Today, I tried to talk to my boyfriend about our communication problems. He fell asleep. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Yada yada yada
Today, I finally got up the courage to talk to my four-year boyfriend about how insecure I've been feeling in our relationship recently, and how I needed his support while I try to get my self-esteem back on-track. He fell asleep mid-conversation. FML
Sleepless in Longfield
Today, after not being able to sleep for two hours because my boyfriend wouldn't stop talking, he fell asleep and I was left wide awake. I listened to him snore for another three hours and only got a couple of hours sleep. He's not working today, but I am. FML
Don't care
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. I called him about two minutes after, and he'd already fallen asleep. FML
Today, I discovered that I sometimes talk in my sleep. After spending an amazing, perfectly romantic night with my boyfriend, I woke up to him telling me to leave. I have no idea what I could have said. He still won't talk to me. FML
Support system
Today, I had a nervous breakdown. My life has been going down the drain and I called my boyfriend for comfort. I was crying my eyes out, finally getting everything off of my chest that has been bothering me. I thought it was quiet because he was listening closely. I was wrong. He fell asleep. FML
Me me me
Today, I was on the phone with my boyfriend for an hour listening to him talk about his new truck and his final exams. I literally did not say a single word. Just as I said, "Hey baby, guess what happened to me today?", he says, "Can I go to sleep? I'm too tired to guess. Night." FML
No time to lose
Today, I spoke to my girlfriend about how we don't spend enough time talking to each other, but she went on to tell me that we'll talk about it tomorrow because she wanted to sleep. FML
Peaceful
Today, I tried to break up with my girlfriend because I feel unappreciated. She fell asleep while I was attempting this. FML
Today, my boyfriend came over to cheer me up after I'd had a sleepless night. He thought it would be a good time to propose. Unfortunately, it coincided with me yawning. FML
Bored
Today, while I was telling my therapist all of my inner conflicts, he fell asleep. FML

He is trying to communicate with you through his dreams. I think he is most likely a wizard from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

It has to be the right time to talk to each other. Don't wait until it's late in the day to talk. Make sure you don't just babble on either, give him time to process what you are saying. Don't expect him to have any answers right away, he may have to think for a few minutes. Make sure you are calm and talk. Don't yell at him, he may get defensive. Remember that communication is a two way street, and also he may have some things to say but doesn't want to hurt your feelings.

Jesus Christ, just shut the **** up about the grammar and spelling on the internet. You're fighting a lost cause and you look like a giant dick head. At least make your comments funny instead of just outright rude and harmful.

Your communication skills lack also if you can't tell he's tired and falling asleep. Would he have fallen asleep in the middle of the discussion if it wasn't just one sided? Maybe pipe down and hear what he has to say, too.

So, what you're saying is that you and he have communication issues? From what you've written, I see no sign of that. You appear to be communicating your point just fine, and, in kind, he is telling you what he things of your point.
