Today, I drove my cousin to her wedding. The photographer said I was too ugly for the official photos so they searched the crowd for a good looking guy to pose as the driver in my new car. No one in the crowd stopped to defend me. My mom told me it's my own fault. FML

Today, my cousins cropped me out of a picture of all six of us at a wedding, then captioned it, "We have such a good-looking family!" FML
Today, my mom and I were looking at pictures from the beach. She goes, "That is a REALLY ugly picture of Michelle" (my cousin). The picture was of me. FML
Today, my mom drove my family to the desert for a themed family photo. We had to wear big frumpy old western-looking clothes in 115 degree weather. Hot and agitated, I muttered, "This is the ugliest thing I've ever had to wear." My mom, looking hurt, replied, "That's my wedding dress." FML
Today, my cousin got married. I was cold so I went to get my jacket from my car. While leaving I saw my cousin walking around the front of the venue. I told her she looked beautiful in her dress. She looked up and said, "Where is my beer, have you seen my beer?" and threw up on me. FML
Today, my mom wanted me to pick up my cousin from work immediately. I'm in my shirt and underwear with no other clothes and I'm also too young to drive. She said "He won't mind, and just take my drivers license, they'll never know!" FML
Today, my sister told me she didn’t want me in her wedding pictures because I looked fat in my bridesmaid's dress. FML
Today, I’m supposed to be a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding, but she doesn’t want me in the photos because I’m over a foot taller than her and the other bridesmaids, and it will look silly in the photos. I told her I won’t even bother attending, and mom actually took her side. FML
Today, as I was driving out of a parking lot, some douchebag yelled at me: "Nice car! Too bad you're so ugly!" It was my friend's car, so I don't even have that going for me. FML
Today, my sister and her new husband invited our family and my fiancé over to look at their wedding pictures. Turns out, I caught the bouquet and flashed the world in the process. FML
Today, I got very dressed up and was excited for my uncle's wedding. While standing in line for photos, I heard my dad's voice from behind me say "Who's the hot chick in the brown dress?" My uncle responds "Uh, that's your daughter." Silence. FML

To everybody who is inevitably going to say "YDI for being ugly..." Regardless of whether or not he had excessive facial hair, looked bad or whatever, this was entirely uncalled for. Weddings are a symbol of a joining - of two people and of families. How would /you/ like to be kicked out of the metaphorical memories of an event of celebration and love because you're "ugly"? How would you like to feel humiliated, excluded, and unloved (i.e. the same as this poor guy) just because you're gay, or black, or fat, or Jewish? This is just as cruel as any other form of "-ism" and the fact that no one cared enough to say anything just makes it worse. And for all of you saying it was probably what he was wearing, don't you think that driving to his cousin's weeding he would have had at least worn something decent. I mean, even if he didn't (entirely possible), wouldn't the photographer have told him that he was "dressed inappropriately" or at least that "his clothes were ugly" instead of flat out saying "you're too ugly"? FYL, OP. Screw your family and live your life far away from people like this..
