Today, I spat up blood and had horrible chest pain. My mom still made me go to school, claiming she needed to take the cat to the vet instead of taking me to the doctor. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I woke up feeling ill. My mom sent me to school anyway, and grounded me for "lying" about being sick. As soon as I got to school, I began vomiting blood. FML
Today, I woke up with chest pain. It hurt just to breathe, but my parents made me go to school anyway. We're now sitting in the emergency room. FML
Today, I told my mom that I'd vomited blood. She simply said, “Good” and went back to watching TV. FML
Today, I had food poisoning and woke up early in the morning to vomit. My mom emailed all of my teachers saying that I would be late to school because of "morning sickness". Thanks mom. FML
Today, I was at my mom's when I suddenly doubled over in pain. It was so bad that I begging to be taken to the hospital, just when her dog started coughing. She immediately ran to her dog, asked if she was OK, saying that she hates to see anyone she loves in pain. I sat there hunched over in disbelief. FML
Today, I took my wife's cat to the vet for her yearly check up. I'm finishing the day at the hospital with multiple bite wounds and a deep gash in my leg. My wife chose to comfort her cat instead. FML
Today, I woke up with horrible pain in my gut. It got worse and worse, and I started vomiting from the pain. My mom said it was the flu and that I needed to "man up." It turned out to be appendicitis, and I'm now typing this from my hospital bed. FML
Today, I had debilitating stomach cramps and told my mom, but she said she was too tired to take me to the ER. I had appendicitis. Thanks Mom. FML
Today, our dog became ill. My mom wasted no time attending her every needs and became very distressed. When I had appendicitis a few months ago, my mom told me to “sleep it off” and a friend had to take me to the hospital. She only called once to bitch at me for “doing this on purpose to make her feel bad.” FML
Today, I wasn't feeling too well and consequently threw up. In an effort to get some sympathy, I told my mom about what happened. Rather than trying to make me feel better, she yelled at me because I threw up in the bathroom sink "when the damn toilet is two feet away." Thanks mom. FML

a while ago I woke up with a very sharp pain in my shoulder....my father knew about it but my mother was still asleep....when she woke up he told her and she thought he's talking about my uncle -who shares my name- she asked him if he went to a hospital yet and that he shouldn't take it lightly...when my father told her he's talking about me she said "oh...ok" and went to the kitchen...

Wow, what a horrible thing to do, great parenting, not. I have pneumonia right now and had those symptoms. You need a doctor, I hope your idiot mother will take you. If you have the same thing or worse your life is in danger. Do whatever it takes.

What the...****? That's no joke. Spitting up blood is usually very serious unless you have injury inside your mouth, but with a chest pain it is very worrying. And you, instead of whining about this on the internet, despite the fact that your mother is a bitch, should go to the hospital on your own. ASAP.

On the one hand, she should have taken you to get checked out, no question. On the other this post didn't end with "and it turns out I have___________" so maybe you're okay and just swallowed blood from a nose bleed or something, like previously suggested. If you went to school I hope you went to the nurse who would be able to decide whether you should go the the hospital, and if it's that serious they'd probably call child services as well.
