Today, I saw a wasp on the ground, apparently injured and unable to fly. It was being mobbed by ants and looked certain to die, so I stamped on the ants to save its life. At this point it sprung up, stung me, then flew off. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, this huge wasp started flying around me. I freaked out and started running from it. Then I slipped, landed face-first in some dog poo, and got stung by the wasp on my leg. FML
Ouchies
Today, I was stung by a wasp. Startled, I stumbled and grabbed a nearby tree branch to regain my balance. The branch happened to be the location of the wasp's nest, which fell to the ground and split open. The wasps weren't happy. FML
Today, there was a gigantic wasp in my room. It stupidly flew upwards and got hit by the rotating fan. It then immediately decided to take it's revenge by stinging me. FML
Today, I saved a honey bee from drowning in our pool. It promptly stung me and died. FML
Those pesky little *****
Today, I was stung by a red wasp. While my husband heroically killed it, I, the person terrified of wasps after being swarmed as a child, collapsed, sobbed, screamed, and almost vomited from sheer terror. Give me snakes, spiders, insects galore and I am fine. Single flying asshole of doom and I turn into a child. FML
Today, my friend bet everyone at my lunch table that no one could catch the fly that was flying around our table. I reached up and caught it. It was a wasp, and it stung me. FML
Today, a bee landed on my leg. I didn't realize it was there until my friend yelled out, "Bee!" kicked me in the leg, and ran off. I fell to the ground screaming and clutching my leg. She missed the bee and it still stung me. FML
Gotcha
Today, I noticed an extremely large bug buzzing around my room. After several attempts, I stomped on it with my shoe. I was trying to get a closer look at my victory when it flew into my nostril. Turns out it was just playing dead. FML
Today, I was walking to work when I saw an empty pop can. Angry at whoever left it, I kicked it out of the way. Turns out it wasn't empty; it was filled with hornets. I had to run 2km to work while being attacked by a giant swarm of wasps. FML
Another pro-shoe argument
Today, I accidentally stepped on a dead bee. The stinger was still intact. How do I know? It stung my foot. I'm allergic to bees. FML

I am curious what code makes ants less worthy of life than wasps?

Sorry, OP--you don't deserve it, but now you know better. Never trust a wasp.

That's why you don't trust those assholes.

Idiot wasps serve no useful function in nature except to sting you. They don't pollinate or make honey. They are a pain literally and figuratively. YDI

You can nurse the rattlesnake back to health, but never forget that it's a rattlesnake.

Now, this is how you think correctly about this. By far the best comment I've read and just made my time wasting a little pleasurable

Wasps really just exist to be assholes. Should've left the little bastard there to die.

A wasp on the ground unable to fly Mobbed by ants and certain to die. Stamping on ants to save it's life It sprung, stung and flew, clear of strife. The grief stricken ants were left at the scene to bury their dead, then answer the queen. " Where are the wings of the one who caused dread?" "Thou art but douchebags! Off with their heads!"
