Today, an ultrasound tech complimented me on my "exceptionally full bladder." That's probably the best compliment I've received this week. FML
Today, I got my first compliment in over a year. It was from my gynecologist, saying I have a beautiful cervix. FML
Today, I donated blood for the first time, and all the nurses kept complimenting on how good my veins were. That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me in the past 2 months. FML
Today, my dentist told me I had a good tongue. That's the best compliment I've gotten in months. FML
Today, I spent two hours trying to catch a urine sample whilst at urgent care due to my inability to pee in public restrooms. I finally managed one, and was so excited by my success that I fumbled it and spilled it on my pants. FML
Today, I had to get a urine analysis done for my doctor. I take medicine that makes me a little shaky sometimes. Guess who spilled their pee all over themselves while trying to put the lid on. FML
Today, I got told that I have a dainty sneeze. It was the closest thing I've had to a compliment I've had in months. FML
Today, I'm at the ER for my first ever UTI and potential other "down there" issues. Yesterday I got married. FML
Today, I have a UTI. After taking some sample medicine my doctor gave to me, I had a lot of back pain and nausea. I also spent 6 hours in the ER with no health insurance because I thought I was urinating blood. Nope, "peeing red" is just a little side-effect my doctor forgot to inform me of. FML
Today, I went in to the doctor's thinking I had a bladder infection. I walked out knowing I'm pregnant. FML

It is very possible to have blood in your urine. Otherwise the term "haematuria" wouldn't exist. The blood can come from any part of the urinary system - from the kidney to the urethra. Even a drop of blood can make the urine look bloody. It drives me bat-shit crazy when people who don't know anything about medicine make ignorant statements regarding medicine.

Mine actually contains quite a bit, but that's due to being slightly anemic. My sister has it worse, though. She had to have a few blood transfusions because she almost bled to death from her period. On a happier note... Anyone want cookies? ;D
