Today, I managed to infect a clean computer with a virus while looking up info on how to rid my other computer of the same virus. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my mom thought it would be a good idea to see what websites I go on from my computer while I wasn't home. She clicked the link that gave my computer a virus that I just got rid of a few days ago. FML
Today, I realized that my virus protection program now has a virus. FML
Check this out
Today, I got two viruses on my laptop. One was a fake anti-spyware program that cluttered the screen with pop-ups. The other opened the browser repeatedly, each time to a generic porn site. This all conveniently happened at work, on a projector and during a meeting. FML
Today, I'm in my third week at a new job. Using an online service our company recommends, I accidentally downloaded a virus that is now working its way through our website, randomly sending our customers Viagra ads via our email. I personally had to tell the founder of the company. FML
Today, my computer was hit by something bigger than a virus: a car. FML
Today, my nitwit son infected our family computer with some sort of mad bastard virus after getting fooled by the promise of some non-existent Hannah Montana nudes. FML
Infected
Today, discovered that all the viruses I have gotten on my computer at work haven't been from anything I've done, but because my boss has secretly been using it after hours to download or watch porn so he wouldn't risk getting a virus on his own computer. I've lost 3 major projects due to this. FML
What have you done now?
Today, my dad was sat on my laptop in the living room trying to learn how to do some rewiring around the house when he, and I quote, ”clicked on the thing.” My laptop is now riddled with so many viruses it’s basically a house brick. FML
Genius move
Today, the new office IT guy figured the best way to get the virus off my computer was to wipe my entire hard drive. He was kind enough to back my data up and restore everything from the backups. Including the virus. FML
Today, my mom borrowed my computer without my permission and downloaded a virus. I came home to a blue screen of death. She refuses to admit fault and pay for a new computer. FML

I have a better deal than any of you... I've got African royalty sharing their fortune with me! All I've got to do is give them my account info; a small price to pay, I think.

Don't despair, OP. The best thing you can do at this point is start both your computers in safe mode and restore them both to a date before the infection happened. You might have to reupdate a few programs, but you won't have to hassle about getting rid of the viruses. They'll be wiped clean out.

its called antivirus software. it may seem expensive but it protects for a whole year and this kind of shit doesn't happen. that's worth $60 to me.

Expensive? Funny, avast and AVG seem to be quite cheap. I mean, free is a good price to pay for forever, right? And before you say "the pay ones are higher quality" bullshit, every pay antivirus I've ever used has had bloatware and no better protection than the free stuff. Especially since the free stuff tends to have a whole ton of developers trying to one up each other in real time. The virus definition updates are like a comments section, someone's always got something better.

Give the computer some Tylenol, that always works for me when I get a virus.
