Today, I'm staying at my boyfriend's house and things were getting heated when he got a call from one of his mates wanting to play Counter Strike. Next thing I know, I'm laying in bed by myself listening to him rage. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Focus!
Today, my boyfriend and I aren't speaking. He wanted to stay up late to "look for jobs", so I went to bed. An hour later, I was awoken to him screaming. When I ran in to see what was going on, he had a video game open. I shouldn't be mad at him because it was a "mega rare drop", he insists. FML
Heated gaming moment
Today, I went to my boyfriend's house after working a night shift. The door was locked and, so I wouldn't wake his parents, I called him. Twelve times. Each call went to voicemail and I was left standing outside in the freezing rain until he finally let me in. What was he doing? Playing video games. FML
Switch 2: Electric Boogaloo
Today, I found my boyfriend playing games when we have 5 million things to do, but the bastard picked me up, put me in the hall, shut the door in my face, and barricaded it with the sofa. I texted him, threatening to break up unless he opened the door; he texted back to leave my key behind when I left. FML
Today, after a full shift at work, I got home to my boyfriend playing CoD, a full sink, crap all over the table, a full cat box, dirty bathroom, no laundry done and the kids at my parents' house. He yelled at me because the place was a mess. FML
Not a morning person
Today, I was woken up by the sound of someone in my room. I started freaking out, thinking someone had broken in, so I kicked them, only to realise it was my boyfriend coming back from the toilet. I'd forgotten he was staying over. FML
Today, I woke up at my boyfriend's place with grumbling stomach pains. I left him in bed to go have explosive diarrhea in the bathroom next to his room. When I was done, I came back to bed and snuggled in next to his sleeping body. He rolled over to whisper, "I heard everything." FML
Today, my roommate came home and instantly began raging, cursing, and threatening to kill me. While I was cowering in my bedroom, the police had to settle the situation. All I'd done was rearrange some furniture. FML
Today, I was at my boyfriend's house. It wasn't until the huge fight which ended with us breaking up did I realize that I was snowed in with him. One day down, two to go. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me. I felt down, so I laid in bed and told my parents I needed some alone time. A couple of minutes later, one of them started blasting "All by Myself" so loud that I felt the floorboards vibrate. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were house sitting. We were a little on edge because we'd heard noises. We were starting to get intimate, and suddenly the house alarm started going off. We locked ourselves in the room, called the police, and they told us that we were the ones who'd set it off. FML

Next time, proceed until things get heated. But just as he's about to jump on you, grab a bowl of ice-cream and start watching Netflix... And that's how you counter strike.

Ah, yes, the ever-confusing FML in which somebody gives their girlfriend blue ovaries to play a game… it's nice to see you again.

Well you could do one of two things: 1. Get back at him by doing the same thing and see how he likes it. Or 2. Next time you get back together, tell him how how you felt about it because communication is key in any relationship, tell him that doing this upset you and try to do a make up day for it.
NeatNit 33
So option 1 then?
ReineRien 5
are you serious? you want her to punish him for not "giving it up when she wanted him to" ? Doesn't that sound a BIT, just A BIT, sexist?

You think he's raging now. Try unplugging his gaming console.
flamingarrow59 21
hes not on a console ;)

Well, technically, a PC is a console.... maybe even a gaming console (its a console that can play games) but isnt classified as one simply to class it separately from a dedicated gaming console, whereas PC's can do more than just game.

They do have Cs go on xbox
SneakySlayer 15
Are you dumb??? A console is a PC as it is a computer it just has its on OS but it just has special parts
flamingarrow59 21
don't talk about that they haven't updated that in like 3 1/2 years
Lalala579121 28
25 - No, a console is not a PC. It is a computer, yes, but PC specifically refers to desktop computers.

He must've not rushed B, I understand his frustration

I can't tell you how much it bugs me when people stand the door to apps while rushing B on Mirage. =p

Shut down FML, we're done. This is it.

dude, he has every right to say 'no' at any point. He's not obligated to sleep with her, just cause she got 'excited'. No means no, you can't hold that against him. That's equality.

I'd like to commemorate the end of FML with double-fudged ice-cream for everyone!! (Whipped cream not included)
DanielleinDC 34
Nobody's saying he's obligated to sleep with her because things got heated. We are saying it's pretty rude to abandon your visiting girlfriend to go play a game with friends. And unless there's an impending crisis in your life, why answer the phone during frisky time anyway?
ReineRien 5
reacting in a passive aggressive manner won't help. That is not the way to go. All these suggestions are very childlish.
RichardPencil 32
You should either play with him or play with yourself.
Saone_fml 27
Leave. Just go home since he obviously doesn't care to spend time with you if he runs off at the first distraction he gets, and talk to him about it next time when he's not raging yet.

We don't know the whole situation, the boyfriend may not have played with them in a while. And maybe, instead of picking the option that will inevitably lead to a fight, and most likely a breakup, why not pick the good option for once? Frankly if you'd rather start the whole "you don't spend enough time with me" argument instead of actually trying to spend time with the person, you should just break up right away instead of bothering to go through a fight about it.

I think the issue is less that he didn't sleep with her (to ppl saying he's not obligated to), but more that she took the time to visit him and he just ignored her in favor of some other activity. Not so bad if they'd spent a bit of time together before or if the BF doesn't usually do this, but if he's the type to constantly prioritize other activities then I can understand the frustration. If it's the latter, just have a conversation with him OP. I've had similar priority-issues with my bf, and a simple chat fixed the issue. If it doesn't help, then maybe that's a sign you two aren't investing the same amount into the relationship.

Oops, my above comment wasn meant as a general post. But in relation to your post... I actually think leaving is sound advice as long as it isn't done out of spite. For example, if she can't participate with him (ie: no second gaming PC) then it doesn't make sense for her to just sit around doing nothing. Leaving might allow her to spend time with her own friends or relax at home doing her stuff. Also, if she's really upset, leaving gives her the time to calm down and have a rational discussion about it with him later.
gracehi 33
You've just learned what his priorities are and you're not one of them. Time to find yourself a man who will put you at the top of his priorities... or at the very least, above video games.
