Today, I'm being evicted from my apartment for not paying rent. My father is the on-site landlord, meaning I now have to move my stuff downstairs into his place, and hear every day how I'm a failure. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my boyfriend moved out and took all his things with him. He also took some things that didn't belong to him, namely my rent money. My landlord comes tomorrow. FML
Today, I came home to found all of my belongings out on the street. My roommate, who is also my brother, apparantly neglected to pay his part of the rent, and we got evicted. FML
Today, I found out I'm being evicted from my apartment on my birthday. FML
Today, after pointing out to my landlord that they have taken nearly $6k from me through illegal rent increases, I was evicted for the first time in my life. FML
Today, I got a notice in the mail saying I had been fired from my job. My dad's the boss, who I happen to live with. FML
Today, I got home from work to find an eviction notice taped to my door, stating that I was a nuisance and had 30 days to vacate the property. I live at home with my parents. FML
Today, I visited my dad. He gave the, "You live under my roof, you follow my rules" lecture since I didn't do my "chores". I moved out 3 years ago. FML
Today, all of my roommates handed in their vacating notice unexpectedly. They are all moving to a new house together in two weeks, leaving me to be either homeless or forced to pay 4 times what I was paying in rent. FML
Today, I received an eviction notice taped to my door stating my landlord is selling his property and moving out of the country in 13 days. My landlord is my boyfriend. FML
Today, I woke up to "we're leaving". I'm now homeless because my Dad and his girlfriend got into an argument over toilet paper. FML

To be fair, if you get evicted for not paying your rent, you ARE a failure.

you should work for him doing repairs and upkeep and stuff. don't let him label you. label yourself as a hard worker and then become one. if you're lazy, then YDI.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for people that get evicted for not paying their rent. That's how the world works. You, however, get a second **** you for bitching because it's your dad doing the right thing and you don't want to deal with your own irresponsibility. You ARE a failure.

What if the OP lost their job and can't afford it at the moment? If that happened then FYL OP but if it didn't and you flat out refuse only then is it a YDI. However there is not enough information for me to give either or...

You know, that sucks and all, but you should have paid your rent. If you were somehow unable, there are ways to get more time, or you could give bits at a time to show you're definitely trying. However, from the sounds of it, your father has probably learned a lesson about leniency from you.

I say FYL, it sucks that you're gonna have to listen to your dad bitch and that he actually evicted you sucks (blah blah he shouldn't treat his son differently--**** you and shut the hell up, it's his kid for Christ's sake. He obviously isn't going to make him pay rent to stay in HIS house, but he has to pay for an apartment that HIS FATHER owns?).
