Today, I left my book on the plane after I'd finished reading it. The flight attendant thought I'd forgotten it, so he chased me through the airport, past security, past customs, and past baggage claims. I didn't have the heart to tell him I left it on purpose. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Where is my mind?
Today, I was flying home from LAX when I realized I'd left my ID back at the hotel. After making phone calls to the hotel and rental car company, I found it and made it back to the airport in time for my flight. After going through security, I realized I'd left my phone on the hotel counter. FML
I wanna go home
Today, my flight landed after a 12-hour trip, and I walked out of the airport without checking a single bag. Twenty minutes into my drive home, the airline called asking why I'd left my passport at immigration. FML
Today, I was the only passenger on a completely booked flight to have all their luggage left behind in another country. FML
On the run
Today, I was in a hurry to catch a plane. I got halfway to the airport when I realized I'd forgotten my phone. I drove back to the house and searched for it. I finally gave up and returned to the airport, only to find that I was 10 minutes late for my plane. Just then, my pocket vibrated. FML
Today, I was heading out for my flight to Australia. I'd put a padlock on my luggage to keep my wallet and passport safe, only to realize way too late that I'd left the key at home. I couldn't get at my passport and ended up missing my flight and my whole vacation along with it. FML
Today, I waited patiently in the airport as my flight was repeatedly delayed. After 5 long hours I approached one of the attendees to discover that the plane had left 5 minutes ago. FML
Wait and see
Today, I was on a flight home. I wasn't going to arrive until midnight, so I was offered an earlier flight that got back at ten. I got to baggage claims and it turned out they lost my bag. I sat there for 2 hours. The people on my original flight left for home before I did. FML
Been around the world and I I I, I can't find my suitcase
Today, I arrived home after taking one airplane from A to B. My luggage never made it on the plane with me, and now the airline is looking for it. One plane and still lost my suitcase. FML
Leaving blues
Today, I was at the airport waiting for my flight when I realized I had forgotten my passport at home. I panicked, called my mom in a frenzy, only to realize I was holding my passport in my wallet the entire time. It was so embarrassing, and my mom will probably never let me forget it. FML
Classic
Today, I was proud of myself for remembering my wallet, keys and phone before leaving for the airport. I got all the way to security before realizing I’d left my passport on the kitchen table, right next to the travel mug I also forgot to bring. FML

Why'd you leave the book on the plane?

My guess #1 is that the male flight attendant's phone number is written somewhere in the book. Guess #2, the OP is male.

Leaving books in random places is a way of encouraging people who wouldn't go and buy books to read. I think it's a great idea. Plus, the guy didn't try and get any money out of it, he just wants to spread his love for books!

when most people read a really good book they keep it to possibly reread in the future but I can see your point of view also

See, this is understandable on buses and trains, more with newspapers as I have never seen a book being left, as these are continuously running and so people get on and off at different times, but with a plane, when you get off, they then just clear up the plane. They wouldn't leave a book on the plane, in fact they'd most likely just throw it away or destroy it. So that way, no one gets to read it, but if you just donate it to a charity shop or something then someone else can read it (and they money they pay for it goes to charity c:)

No he didn't. OP used the plane like a trash can.

Having forgotten a book on a plane and having to try to get it back... They actually have a lost and found facility for each airline. I didn't get my book back though because j couldn't afford to have it shipped to me and they wouldn't let me just pick it up. :(

1. At least op is a reader, they get a lot of points for that in my book. 2. Op could have been leaving the book for someone else that got on the plane sharing the love of reading I would just suggest a little STICKY note on the cover "good read - enjoy"
