Been around the world and I I I, I can't find my suitcase
Today, I arrived home after taking one airplane from A to B. My luggage never made it on the plane with me, and now the airline is looking for it. One plane and still lost my suitcase. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my airline lost my luggage when I flew back from France. They also lost my luggage when I flew to France. FML
Today, I was on a flight home. I wasn't going to arrive until midnight, so I was offered an earlier flight that got back at ten. I got to baggage claims and it turned out they lost my bag. I sat there for 2 hours. The people on my original flight left for home before I did. FML
Today, I flew across country to college. My luggage did not. FML
Today, I was the only passenger on a completely booked flight to have all their luggage left behind in another country. FML
Today, I arrived at the airport only to find my suitcase was lost and my 3 weeks worth of clothes and supplies gone. All I had left was my wallet and carry ons. Upon leaving the airport I was mugged. FML
Today, after 10 years of frequent international air travel, I got my seat upgraded for the very first time. Also, for the very first time in 10 years, the airline lost my luggage. FML
Today, my flight landed after a 12-hour trip, and I walked out of the airport without checking a single bag. Twenty minutes into my drive home, the airline called asking why I'd left my passport at immigration. FML
Today, I was sitting in the airport, watching the baggage handlers load the plane I was about to get on. They were being really rough with it, one bag came open and all the clothes spilled out onto the tarmac. The clothes looked familiar. They were mine. FML
Today, I was flying home from LAX when I realized I'd left my ID back at the hotel. After making phone calls to the hotel and rental car company, I found it and made it back to the airport in time for my flight. After going through security, I realized I'd left my phone on the hotel counter. FML
Today, I was heading out for my flight to Australia. I'd put a padlock on my luggage to keep my wallet and passport safe, only to realize way too late that I'd left the key at home. I couldn't get at my passport and ended up missing my flight and my whole vacation along with it. FML

It happens, and it sucks every time it does. For short trips I just take a carry on. It’s a nuisance, but it won’t get lost… Best case is it gets lost coming back home and then shows up. Worst case is it gets lost outbound and you don’t have a change of clothes… I lived in Melbourne FL at one time. My baggage got lost coming back from a domestic USA flight. But somehow my bag wound up in Melbourne Australia! It took about a week to show up after I put in a claim.

I experienced this when I flew across the country to my home town for Christmas, a 40 minutes flight, and filled out a lost luggage paper from the airline, and two days later I got a phone call from a delivery guy, who stood outside my home, where I had travelled from, wondering where I was, and two days after that I got my suitcase delivered to my holiday home, but you might be luckier...
