Today, I learned from my daughter's teacher that she has been wearing the same shirt for the past few weeks, ever since we had a fight about how I don't pay attention to her. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Rip off
Today, I learned that my daughter pocketed the money I'd paid so she could go to college. FML
How not to raise 'em right
Today, I learned that my 13 year-old daughter has been wearing the same pad for a week “because there’s no blood on it.” When I told her that it's still disgusting, she tried to defend herself be saying that, "no one ever told her how long she could wear it." FML
Fashionista
Today, my mother had a full-on hissy fit because of the clothes I was wearing. Not because she thought they were inappropriate, but because I was "stealing her look." FML
Kids will be kids
Today, I learned my son has been picking on a girl he has a crush on. He apparently went too far, because she finally snapped and beat him up at recess. The teacher, who knew about this from the beginning and actively did nothing, is trying to throw me under the bus for being oblivious to my son's behavior. FML
Today, I returned a shirt for my mom. When the cashier asked why, I just said my mom didn't like the way it looked. After an awkward pause, I noticed the cashier was wearing the same shirt. She was not amused. FML
Today, after having bought my daughter a complete set of new school clothes, she threw a tantrum and refused to wear them. I told her she could either wear them, or go to school naked. She made if half-way down the street in the nude before I caught up and dragged her back inside. FML
Clashing
Today, my daughter came home in tears, completely distraught. It took half an hour to convince her to tell me what was wrong. What horrific thing happened to her? One of her friends wore the same outfit as her to the movies, and apparently that's a betrayal of their friendship. FML
Today, after a conference with my teacher who had previously accused me of not doing my homework, she finally discovered she'd been losing it all this time. I've been getting straight Fs for a month. FML
Modesty
Today, I found out that my 11 year-old daughter dresses skimpy when I drop her off on the weekends at my ex-husband’s house, courtesy of his girlfriend, who he cheated on me with. When I confronted her, she told me to “stop being such a prude” and with my attitude, “no wonder you get cheated on.” FML
Today, marks the fourth day in a row that I've worn the same outfit to prove to my parents that they pay me no attention. They still haven't noticed. FML

Well she proved her point- you clearly aren't paying attention.

Your kids should be the top priorities in your life. Pay attention.

At least she didn't prove her point by getting knocked up by her step brother ... ;)

Time to take away the computer, make her start washing her own clothes, & stop whatever it is that takes your attention away from noticing that your daughter has got the manners of honey boo boo's family...unless you're into that sort of nastiness.

Why should the OP punish her daughter for proving that the OP was being a negligent parent? She didn't do anything wrong. She didn't throw fits, do drugs, sleep around, no, she wore a shirt. She proved her point in a non-destructive manner. It's entirely possible and honestly likely, based on the fact that it took WEEKS, before the school called, that the girl was washing the shirt over and over again specifically so she could wear it. Rather than wearing the same dirty shirt. I think the school would have called much sooner had the girl developed a stench. The fact that they didn't makes it more likely that the only reason they called is that it is a sudden strange behavior development that clearly points to issues in that girl's life.

Yes it is disgusting but if it's an older kid and are smart enough they might actually wash it every night before wearing it again.
