Today, I had to watch my neighbor's daughter for 10 hours. She wouldn't eat anything I had to offer, so I ordered a pizza for $19 + a $5 tip = $24. Her father came by to pick her up, thanked me, and gave me a $20 bill. I effectively just paid to watch his kid. FML

$20 for 10 hours is stupid. Why were you even willing to do something without knowing how much you'll get out of it?

I wouldn't do that guy a favor again.

$20 ?! :| Seriously ?! :|

$2 an hour? /Always/ agree on a rate ahead of time.

who the F spells the word "more," M-O-A-R. the comments on this site are just terrible.

Well, you got pizza.

You got scre-w-w-w-w-wed.

75, 127, 129 wow, you guys must rock at working out tips. 5 out of 19 is about 26% (to be excessively accurate it's 26.3158%). I find your inability to calculate percentages (even approximately) quite sad, 19 is almost 20, 5 is 25% of 20, so you could have reasonably guessed at it being about 25% and got it slightly wrong, instead of deciding that 5x5 is 19 (20% is 1/5th). 75 is especially funny since they're insulting someone else for poor maths skill while claiming that. lol.

You should've just made the kid eat what they had or she shouldn't eat. plus, why the hell are you only makin $20 for 10 hours?!?!

Well, that sucks. If it makes you feel any better, when I was younger, in my very early teens, I was usually paid $10 for baby sitting my younger cousin for about 10 hours. This has happened multiple times. My parents would not let me say no.

Next time, let the goddamn kid starve.

I agree that's messed up, but you might have asked him to cover the expense of the pizza. The real FML is that you managed to order a pizza that costs $20. #172 - That spelling has been used for comic effect on the internet for some time.
