Today, I babysat the neighbors’ evil kids. They dropped them over at my house and I played with them for five hours. After taking the brats back home and putting them to bed, their mother asked me what time I came back to the house. She only paid me for the 20 minutes I was in their house. FML

Today, I was babysitting. Being kind, I went to grab their mail, while their 4 year old ate lunch. He locked me out, wrecked the house, and let me in right when he saw their car two hours later. I didn't get paid. I paid them. FML
Today, I babysat the most annoying and obnoxious kids for almost eight hours, when the parents assured me that they would only be gone about three or so hours. After constant calling and worrying, they finally showed up at 11:30, completely drunk. The mother paid me with three dollars and a banana. FML
Today, I went to babysit eight kids under the age of ten, all by myself. After five hours of Hell, the parents finally came back from the ASU game. I got paid $5. FML
Today, I babysat the brattiest and most foul-mouthed 8-year-old I've ever met. After I survived three hours of it, his parents finally came home. He claimed I'd invited a boy over and that we did "stuff" on the couch all evening. They believed him. I didn't get paid, to say the least. FML
Today, I babysat a kid who was such a bratty little prick that I actually considered walking out on the job. After his mom finally got home 4 hours later, he called her a slut. When he got in trouble for it, he claimed that I taught him the word. Needless to say, I didn't get paid. FML
Today, I'm babysitting kids whose parents said they would be back by 12. Its 4 a.m. and they still aren't home. I don't get paid enough for this. FML
Today, I was babysitting a couple of kids. I'd spent time with them before, so I brought my video game console to play with them. I forgot to take it home with me. They soon sold it to another kid for $10. FML
Today, I babysat my neighbour's spoilt bratty twins. When I told them it was their bed time, they pushed me over. One then started smashing me with a plastic sword, and as I lay helpless on the floor the other one peed on me. I got owned by two five year olds. FML
Today, I babysat the Antichrist of all kids. After the 5 long hours were over, his parents came home. Instead of paying me what they agreed, they offered to let me eat some leftovers of a takeout in the fridge. I'm so afraid of confrontation that I accepted. FML

What she didn't charge you for playing with her evil kids? You lucked out! I'll bet you didn't even put them to good use. With evil kids, you could summon demons, cast curses and make poisons to eradicate your enemies.

Or simply scheme to take over the world. Finding good minions is such a hassle nowadays. Most evil people are easy to identify, what with their red hats and other related paraphernalia. Problem is, they're dumb as bricks. Those kids on the other hand are probably evil AND smart!

She's probably just stressed out and/or economically challenged. Maybe, very gently, talk with her about how you interpreted the babysitting arrangement and see if you can come to a productive mutual agreement.

No, the OP provided a service for which they need to be paid. You wouldn't expect a mechanic to work on your car and not get paid

I was going to say, "Tell her she's a stupid bish and tell her to eff off, that you'll never babysit for her again, and that you're going to tell everyone you know what a cheap azz bish she is," but others have said it much more diplomatically. And if, by chance, it was the spouse's idea, change she to them.
