Today, I had a minor outpatient procedure that required sedation. I am not supposed to drive or even be alone for 24 hours. My husband wouldn't take the day off to go with me, and instead of coming home from work, he is at the bar with his coworkers. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my husband injured his back badly. He's taken three Percocets, because according to him, he knows the dosage better than his doctor, and is demanding that I let him drive himself to work, with no pants on. FML
Today, my husband was supposed to have knee surgery but he wouldn't leave the house because he "got scared" no matter what I and even my mother-in-law tried to do. Now he can't have it for another six months and I took three weeks off work to help him that I can't cancel. FML
Today, I had 3 teeth pulled. Due to the anaesthesia, my mom came along to drive me home. Halfway through my surgery, she decided to leave and go shopping with her friend. She even left a note with the receptionist, saying that I needed to take on my own adult responsibilities. FML
Today, I worked from home and, by coincidence, it was the day that my partner was going away for the weekend with some friends. When one of them picked her up, I noticed that the other friend's husband was going on the trip. So other husbands are invited… but not me. FML
Today, I had the day off from work. I did all the chores hoping to free up time to spend with my husband tonight. When he came home, he looked around and decided that since there was no need for him to stick around and help clean, he'd head to the bar to watch the game with the guys. FML
Today, I finally got to come home after hours spent in a locked down ER after a car accident. My injuries were non life-threatening, but pretty damn painful. I asked my sister to pick up my pain meds from the pharmacy for me. She got drunk and "lost them", AKA gave them to her dirtbag boyfriend. FML
Today, my husband is miserable. He couldn't sleep. He tried to make me feel bad for sleeping through the night. I was medicated from a brain scan. His is work is horrible, and no one understands, etc. He's mad that I took a walk. Now, as I am frustrated and crying, he is laughing on the phone with his coworkers. FML
Today, since I'm still recovering from my surgery and can't drive, my daughter drove me to the doctor. When I was done and walked outside, she was nowhere to be seen. Then I got a text, saying, "Sorry, I forgot I have to be somewhere." The closest bus stop to our house is miles away. FML
Today, I'm in hospital after having surgery for a broken leg. I’m maxed out on Endone and still in pain. Work have said that I’m on the roster next week and I’ll be fired if I’m not there. My wife said that she is going to have some "me time" for a few days when I get home from my "holiday". FML
Today, I met a girl at the bar. Things were going really well and we ended up going back to her place. Problem? Her husband who normally works the graveyard shift was home sick. FML

divorce wow how heartless people. maybe he had to do it for work or he puts in 7 days a week of work and clicks in night time work so that is his only day off. there is always more to the story.

It wasn't even a day off. He had work, then went straight to a bar. Oh and Play has a point. If he works that much, and leaves her home alone, he should probably find a different job, because it's going to send their marriage to the shit.

There could be important parts to this that we don't know about. Perhaps it was a leaving drinks for a friend of his that has been booked in for months now? Or perhaps you have been moaning about this "procedure" for such a long time that he just needs a break from your whining for 1 night.

You do not leave your wife who has had surgery earlier in the day to go to a bar. End of story. If it's a friend from out of town, which I doubt, you're just making excuses for this guy, then he probably could've invited the friend over his house so that he could check on his ill wife.

You would be surprised how many people marry assholes. Not the ones that TURN INTO assholes, but real true assholes from the start. Some girls love that stuff. Then they complain because they think it's cute at first. But after a while, they get sick of it and just want the guy to change and be sweet for once.

Ok the way I see it, your husband is a ******* ass hole from hell, or he is just a low life red-neck. Either way you should divorce him, and get with someone who will treat you right, and be there with you, when you need that person the most....but that is just my personla opinion, now I don't know the relationship between you two...all I'm syin is your husband needs to grow the **** up and think about his ******* whife, instead of thinking about getting drunk and ******* his best friend...oh yea I hate to tell ya but your husband might slighty be gay....

Admittedly, my man is at times a pig but he's a good man deep down. He's always been there for me during the tough times, especially the tough times. He's held my hair back when I had food poisoning. He gave me tough love when I was unemployed and acting like a brat. He held me in his arms when I found out I had a form of cancer. He was supportive through the entire process and offered encouragement when I needed it. There are good men out there. It is possible to find real love. You gotta through a lot of jerks b4 you find the right one though.
