Today, I got a client who ordered ice cream. She seemed really nice and I thought maybe she was into me. When I asked if she wanted peanuts for an additional 50 cents, she said no. Trying to be nice, I added them anyway free of charge. I later had to call the ambulance. She was allergic. FML

She said no..

You apparently think you know better than the customer. No means no, you idiot. If she wanted peanuts, she would have asked for peanuts. Give the customers what they ask for next time.

Real smoothh

you asked if she wanted peanuts for an additional 50 cents? or .50 cents???

You're a bloody idiot. I almost had something like this happen to me- I ordered a smoothie with no yogourt and they put some in anyway. Luckily for me, they told me as they gave it to me that they had made it with yogourt and asked if that was okay. I had to tell them no, because I'm allergic to yogourt. If they hadn't told me, and I'd gotten sick, I would have been pissed! Don't ever mess with people's food orders because you don't think it matters. 1) They could have a very serious reason for ordering something a specific way. 2) they should get what they ordered regardless, because it's their order and it's what they want.

You're retarded. I'm not trolling.

Ok, no offense, but this was really dumb. Don't u know that peanut allergy is one of the most (if not, the most) common food allergy? Next time, just follow the order. I hope she's alright!

Then you were fired for giving her an order she didn't ask for. YDI

You're a freaking idiot. I have food allergies, and constantly have to ask restaurants to take ingredients off. Then there are idiots like you that deliberately ignore customers' requests. What kind of world is this?

I wonder if these ancient FMLs even get comment moderation any more.
