Today, I found out that aside from being savagely overworked and treated like shit for zero pay, another one of my responsibilities as an intern is to take the blame for my boss accidentally posting a link to a porn site on the company's Twitter account. FML

Today, my boss yelled at me for visiting Facebook on my work computer. He says that since I can't be trusted, I'll be supervised from now on. I was uploading pictures to the company's Facebook page, which I have to do once a week as part of my job. FML
Today, my boss was using my computer and tried to copy and paste a website URL. It must not have copied first, because it pasted a URL to a porn site. I think I should start looking for a new job. FML
Today, at work, I received an email telling me that viewing porn websites was prohibited and was a good enough reason to fire me. FML
Today, my boss bitched me out for violating workplace privacy, after he found an FML post from last year that eerily resembled a situation that happened the same year. He thought I posted it and twisted things to make him look like an idiot. I've never posted here in my life. FML
Today, my boss fired me because someone hacked our website and replaced pictures of our products with furry porn (don’t Google it, it’s weird as fuck). We don’t have an IT department, but since I spend the most time on the computer controlling stock and purchases, he blamed me instead. FML
Today, my boss decided to post a photo of a piece of crap on Facebook. He tagged me in it. FML
Today, at work, I stepped out for a few minutes to use the bathroom. Shortly after returning, I found out the hard way that one of my coworkers had used my computer to send a profanity-filled email to our boss, calling him an asshole and telling him to go fuck himself. I'm now jobless. FML
Today, my boss bitched me out for doing some random web browsing while waiting for some documents I needed to arrive, then went back to his desk and went on Facebook, thinking I couldn't see. FML
Today, I found out my boss and some employees on my floor have bets placed on who can get the best picture of my ass. I found out when one of the pictures was accidentally sent to me. FML
Today, my boss reprimanded me for a huge screw-up that he was responsible for. FML

Get friendly with the IT dept. and have them look up the internet history of your bosses computer on their server. Even if your boss cleared his cookies, it went through the company's server and there are traces of it. That goes for all of you who read this and think nobody can see your browsing habits. ?

I would refuse to take the blame for that. If you are going to get fired at least get fired knowing your morals stayed intact. You'll most likely get fired either way you go so at least stand up to an idiot bully and get fired because you chose to do the right thing.

You are an unpaid intern. Stfu and deal with it. I'm assuming the reason you're an intern is because you need the experience for your degree, most likely. So unfortunately for you this is what comes with the turf. You don't like it then quit. Simple.

You are the one who should shut the **** up. This can track him down for ages, he might be "that guy" who posted a **** link on the company twitter. Companies can call your previous employer to hear about you. Does it sound fair for OP? Yes, he's an intern, he need the experience but he also needs a good lesson of ethics (you might have skipped that one I'm guessing) and this is exactly the opposite. No job, paid or not paid, is worth taking the blame and the consequences of something you did NOT do. Get your shit together, man!

Oh I just saw you are a pharmacy technician, studying to be a nurse. Would you take the blame if your boss gave the wrong medication for a patient and told you to take it? :)

You act as though my personal thoughts and opinions interfere with my ability to do my job proficiently... Furthermore, pharmacies have a multi check system to ensure things like that don't happen. I'm not gonna say it's 100% full proof but if a patient does get the wrong med it truly fall on whomever sold it. As we are required to clarify that they are picking up "Lantus" or "humalog" etc
