Today, I found out my ex-boyfriend is currently dating a girl who lives in Korea. We broke up because I was moving to a different part of the city for college and he thought the distance would be "too much." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found out my ex-boyfriend is moving out to California to be with a girl he met while on Chatroulette. We broke up because he thought we were moving too fast. FML
Today, my boyfriend informed me that he'd resolved all the issues with his ex and is getting back together with her. Normally I could tolerate this if it weren't for the fact that I just moved to a different country to live with him, and turned down a university and a scholarship. FML
Today, I found out my fiancé is in a long distance relationship with his ex. Not only do we live on the same island, he's also my neighbor and my co-worker. FML
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. I found out he was seeing someone behind my back: my ex-boyfriend. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 3 months broke up with me because he is moving. He's only moving 20 minutes away. FML
Close, but no cigar
Today, my long-distance boyfriend of 3 years uttered the heartbreaking words, “I met this girl here in my hometown and she’s really great and we fell in love with each other, I can’t do this anymore. We’re over.” I was planning on moving to his town after graduation this year. FML
Sociopathic
Today, my boyfriend of three years broke up with me and blocked me everywhere, after I moved to another country to be with him… and then found out he was married. FML
Fishy
Today, I found out that my girlfriend is trying to get her ex-boyfriend to move up here. FML
Today, I saw my ex-boyfriend at Wal-Mart. This would have been fine had he not broken up with me because he was "moving to Canada." FML
Friends?
Today, I found out that the girl my boyfriend says is "just a good old friend" is actually an "ex that got away." FML

Don't hold it against him, OP; that may have genuinely been his reason at the time. I broke up with someone at the end of high school as we were about to separate for college and am now engaged to someone who lives in Europe. Priorities can change.

My ex broke up with me when I moved to a different city for college, but she couldn't move with me because of her family--even though she wanted to. Several months later she came to the city to visit her friends, and invited me too; we spent the whole evening together, made acquaintance with a lot of people, eventually we ended up kissing. But then she asserted again she couldn't move closer. Ultimately we lost contact for a longer time. The next time we crossed paths, she was actually moving OUT of the city after a few years, having moved there... 4 months after our last encounter, to live with a guy she briefly talked to that same night. So... yeah, I feel you.

She won’t be around long. You’ll have another chance with him after the Un-Trump War.

My ex and I broke up because he didn't want to be long distance when I went off to college. I saw him over winter break. We kissed and he claimed he still loved me. i leave for college again. Shortly after I left, he starts dating this other girl, who had caused problems when we were dating, and she lives a couple of hours away. So I can understand how you feel OP.

I'm sorry that he just wasn't that into you, but still cared enough to try to let you down gently... but then you couldn't leave things alone, so you kept poking around his life even after you and him weren't a thing, until you found out something about him that hurt you... sorry for that...

Don't take it so hard, people change over time, I told an ex I would never leave our country to move to the US, and he decided not to continue with everything to move (he was halfway there and I didn't say don't go, stay with me), we eventually broke up and now I'll be moving to Germany to be with my boyfriend... Priorities change, and people's mind with them, so don't give it that much thought and don't let it bum you :)
