Today, I finally moved all my boxes into my new apartment. I was settling in when my alarm clock that was stashed in one of the boxes began ringing. Two hours and several boxes later, I still can't find it. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Peak efficiency
Today, I got round to organizing my apartment, sorting everything into boxes and shelves. However, due to my arbitrary sorting method, I now can't find everyday things because they're not in their usual place (in a clutter on my desk), including the charger cable I used five minutes ago. My place looks organized. My life does not. FML
Today, I spent the entire day packing my car full of boxes for my move tomorrow. When I finally finished, I realized I didn't have the car key. It's inside one of the boxes. FML
Lost in the sauce
Today, I spent 6 hours unloading boxes into my new apartment. After unloading the entire truck and making trips up and down two flights of stairs, I heard a knock on the door. Apparently the landlord gave me the key to the WRONG apartment. Mine is downstairs. FML
Today, I'm moving. While packing, I realized I hadn't seen my cat in a few hours. I called her and realized she was inside one of the hundreds of boxes in my house. I accidentally packed my cat. FML
Today, after frantically searching my house and office and calling every place I'd visited in the last 24 hours, I finally found my phone in my fridge. FML
Today, I moved into a new apartment. While moving boxes, I ran into my supervisor from work. Guess who lives across the hall. FML
Today, I walked into my bedroom, only to find out that my bed is missing. I have no idea where it is. FML
More brain worms please
Today, I spent what seemed like an hour tearing apart my living room looking for the TV remote, only to find it in the fridge next to the milk. It turns out that last night I decided to put my cereal away in the entertainment center. FML
Crowbar time
Today, I'm moving to almost 1,000 miles to a new state. I packed everything up in the U-Haul and it is en route to the new place. I just realized that it shows up tomorrow and I have no idea where the keys are to unlock the back. FML
Kill it with fire
Today, my dad reactivated a digital clock we had lying around, and accidentally set an alarm on it. For 1 a.m.. So guess who went hunting for that noise in the middle of night. And guess who banished the thing to the living room, then forgot about it, and slept on the sofa in said living room. Or tried to. FML

Unless you're deaf or something, which I'm pretty sure you're not because then there wouldn't be an FML in the first place, just follow the sound! Sheesh.

Most people would just follow the sound instead of randomly opening boxes. YDI.

WTF? Use logic, maybe? Oh my god, this is stupid beyond words. Separate the boxes? Which side is ringing? Ok, now do it again. Zero in on it. It's not that f-ing hard. You make my boyfriend sound like frickin' Einstein.

6000 sympathies for a clearly retarded poster? How frickin hard is it to find which box is ringing? Seriously. Also, label your damn boxes next time you move, so that you can just find the one that says "bedroom" or "nightstand".

It's up your ass, I'd bet!

If you are having so much trouble locating it, take one box to another room. Ask yourself: does this box sound like it has an alarm clock inside? Yes? Open it No? Grab another box

Aren't alarm clocks supposed to stop ringing after a bit? That's how people "sleep through" it. I know I do..
