Today, I decided to be nice and "drop" a twenty in my grandma's house for her to find. She injured her back while picking it up. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I won $20 on a scratch ticket my grandma bought me. She wants it back. FML
Cheers
Today, I spent all day at the hospital with my grandma for some tests. When I drove her back home she decided to thank me with $50. Knowing she is unemployed, I told her I couldn't take a whole $50. She replied with "Ungrateful, just like your mother", then took the money and left. FML
Embezzlement
Today, I found the birthday card my grandma had mailed. Apparently, it contained a gift of $100. Too bad it was in my mom's trash can, opened, with no money. She told my grandma it must have gotten lost in the mail. FML
Let's get you home Grandma
Today, I went shopping with my grandma. She went to the bathroom and was gone for a long while. I jokingly asked, "What happened, you fall in?" She did. She had shit all over the back of her shirt. FML
Arse!
Today, I was watching TV with my grandma. She was looking for the remote, blindly trying to put her hand into the sofa. Instead, she shoved her hand down the back of my pants. FML
Today, I found $100 on the ground. My mom is taking $40 because she was there. FML
Today, I walk into my grandma's house after having a fabulous lunch with a few friends. The first thing I hear is "Be a dear and help me change my colostomy bag." I lost that fabulous lunch. FML
Today, after months of taking care of my grandma after a surgery, the doctors gave her a clean bill of health, and I finally got to sleep in my own bed. She passed away while I was at home. FML
Today, my family was celebrating my grandma's 90th birthday. I pulled a little prank and got candles that keep relighting. After a few blows, my grandma fainted. FML
Today, while at my friend's house, I decided to climb up on a shelf and pounce on him when he came back downstairs. When I heard someone coming, I assumed it was him and pounced. It was his grandma carrying the laundry. FML

Sounds like you’re trying to “drop” Grandma and get your inheritance sooner.

Why not just "give" the 20 to her?

Wow! I wonder what would happen if you dropped a fifty in her house.

Why would you even have your grandma bend over to pick up anything when you are there? You should be picking up stuff for her whenever you can.

My interpretation was he/she wanted their grandma to find it later, and possibly think it was hers that she lost and keep it. A lot of elderly people won't ask for help because they get embarrassed admitting they need hand outs, this is a win win for all! Well, theoretically it was...

There are many other places you can put a 20 dollar bill for her to find without having her strain herself. Or you can just take a 20 out and tell your grandma you found her 20 and hand it back to her. Giving grandma money is a nice gesture, but 20 on the floor is not well thought out.

A lot of people won't accept money, especially from children/grandchildren

Perhaps, but by "give" you can leave it on a table or counter top.

kitchen counter, bathroom sink, dresser, pocket of her fav sweater ... don't EVER leave something on the floor for anyone over the age of 75 to pick up. Now you know why.
