Today, I brought my boyfriend of 2 weeks home to meet my mom and she started talking about how she really wants a lot of grand-kids. He called 2 hours later and broke up with me. FML

Today, my boyfriend broke up with me. How? He invited my mother to his house for coffee with his parents, and told her. She then had to come home and tell me I’d been dumped. FML

Today, after 4 days of avoiding me and screening his calls, my 24-year-old boyfriend sent his mother to break up with me on his behalf. FML

Today, I met my boyfriend's parents. Later on, his mom pulls me aside and tells me to back off, saying he will never marry someone like me and he should be with a nice girl like his ex. They broke up after he found her in his bed with his roomate. FML

Today, my boyfriend of 4 months broke up with me, saying things are moving "too fast". All I did was tell my 3 year-old that my boyfriend's parents are his new grandma and grandpa. FML
Today, my mother found out that my fiancée broke up with her last boyfriend because she didn't want kids and he did. She's now demanding that I either change her mind, or call things off with her. FML

Your mom was a bit over the line but if he was more mature and secure in the relationship you guys could just have laughed it off. If he'd rather just dump you than talk things through then you're better off. Maybe next time wait longer than 2 weeks for meet the parents and warn him your mum is a bit OTT, just make a joke of it.

Your mom sounds a little batty. However, two weeks into your relationship may have been a little soon for you to bring him to meet your mother. Had you previously discussed where your relationship was going and if you wanted it to be serious?

FYL for your mom not being smart enough to realize that your teens and would've gotten to it sooner rather then later And also FYL for that guy being that scared about a mom talking about babies. So?? She cant have hopes of having alot of grand kids to be a awkward freaky grand mother that no one likes because she always talks about baby's and sex babys and sex. This is a mix between FML and YDI. YDI for talking with your boyfriend and your mom, but not for bringing him home so early. I brought my current boyfriend home and we started dating that night. I do not have an insane mother though, but either way your boyfriend, now ex, is just shady and was obviously only in it for a fling.
