Today, I asked my boyfriend what he wanted for Christmas. He then told me that he would only tell me if I promised not to get mad, so I agreed. He told me that he wants me to start working out because I'm getting fat. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I told my boyfriend that I didn't know what I was going to do over the Christmas holidays since he was going to be out of the country. He suggested that I work out and do some sit-ups. FML
Today, I mentioned to my boyfriend that I want to start working out and get rid of my holiday weight. His response? "Okay, just don't join a gym. People will have to see you there." FML
Today, my boyfriend and I gave each other early Christmas gifts. I gave him a basketball signed by his favorite player, which took me forever to find. He got me diet pills. FML
Today, my boyfriend is seriously mad at me for telling his cat what he got it for Christmas. FML
Food fight
Today, my fiancé and I had a fight because he wouldn't let me get what I wanted to eat, even though it was my money. He said, "It's way too many calories. I'm supposed to help you lose weight." When I pointed out that I had given up a month ago, he looked at me and said, "Yeah, I can tell." FML
Today, I was talking to my boyfriend about our new year's resolutions. I started telling him that I wanted to lose some weight. He interrupted me, saying, "Yeah yeah, we all know you're fat, whatever." He then went on a 30 minute speech about how he'd really like to take more pictures of his cat in 2011. FML
Harsh
Today, my boyfriend sent me a text that said, "I can't be seen with you anymore. You're too fat." FML
Awful line of inquiry
Today, I was hanging out with my boyfriend. Everything seemed to be going well, when all of a sudden he turned to look at me with a pensive and thoughtful expression. I expected him to say something important, but instead he just said, "I was wondering, how does it feel to be fat?" FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I gained a few pounds and thought I looked fat. He replied that I looked the same and that I shouldn't worry because he likes fat girls. I never thought I was fat before this. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I didn't want to go out with him because I was having a fat day. After ten minutes of fighting, he threw a ring box on the floor and stormed out. I basically refused his proposal because of my body issues. FML

hey you promised you wouldn't get mad! of Pffft women.men get in trouble if we lie and get in trouble when we tell the truth as well.

We don't get in trouble if we lie about their looks, they like when we do.

Not all of us! If my guy pretended not to notice the weight I've put on it would sabotage my motivation for losing the weight! Lying is never good for a relationship. If your gal has a problem with you being honest, she's f-ed in the head. The way I see it, chemistry is the main foundation of love, what makes it different from friendship. If either partner damages the chemistry, whether it be by getting fat, showering too seldom, chewing with their mouth open or whatever, they're disrespecting the relationship. If you look gross, your partner CAN"T feel attracted, then they have 3 choices: sneak off to get their natural human needs met by someone hotter, dump you, or ask you to get your act together. This guy took the honorable road.

I don't see how this is fml, he told you that he sees your gaining weight. He didn't want to hurt your feelings. at least he didn't straight out call you out on it. basically he has been wanting to tell you this for a little while, there's no easy way to tell a woman that she's getting fat.

He could ask to start working out together. When asking someone what they want for Christmas, you don't expect to hear them say lose some weight. It wasn't the right moment to bring it up.
jweezy89 4
It was as good a time as any, to bring it up. If she is gaining weight, and it's enough for him to notice, she totally deserves this. It's pretty simple people, just because you got yourself a partner, does NOT mean it's ok to let yourself go. And you women wonder why we cheat? Because you let yourself go and we want to **** something attractive.
redundancy 0
that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! saying a man will cheat because the woman 'let herself go' is putting the blame on the victim. if a man is going to cheat, he'll cheat. it has nothing to do with the woman he's with. some guys are just douchebags, like you, 98. and I agree, 54, talking about Christmas gifts is NOT the time to bring up weight gain. there's a little thing called TACT.

At least he didn't tell his personal trainer, "all I want are your sweet ******* in my face" because that would be an FML for hin

Get a personal trainer, then promptly shag him rotten. Everyone needs a good rogering.
underpaid011 0
get him penis enlargement pills, and tell him he is getting too small and flaccid.

guys who have those problems don't ask their GF to lose weight, put up with weight gain and are unhappy ... like you obviously are 'underpaid' ( and bitchy )

Don't be one of those idiots who does a little workout than treats themselves to more food. A trainer at my local gym said that getting good results from working out is 70% DIET. In other words, your boyfriend ought to have asked you to lay off the fruitcake and egg nog, you blimp.

100 times this. Most people deal with weight gain by hitting the gym, but it does *little* if it's not coupled with a healthy diet. And I don't mean one-lettuce-leaf-a-day diet, but a responsible, healthy diet, that can be sustained for life. Yeah, sounds hard. Thought so.

"Wow I ran on the treadmill for a whole 10 minutes... I think I deserve to have 16 slices of cake!"

I 100% agree with perdix, for months I tried different types of exercises with no real results. Then I tried bettering my diet and lost 15 pounds.
