Today, for the first time in years, I broke down in tears, over a Hallmark commercial. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
PMS FTW
Today, I realized how emotional I get around my time of month when I cried because a cheese commercial was so "touching." FML
Today, I was so hungry that my mouth started watering during a dog food commercial. FML
Today, while I was working my shift at the store, my girlfriend appeared and asked to talk to me. Once we were alone, she burst into tears and started sobbing. Turns out someone's dad died in her favorite TV show and she wanted some comfort. FML
Empathy is never toxic
Today, I was sitting outside of a counseling center waiting for someone, watching an older lady bawl her eyes out as she exited the building. Absolutely broke my heart, because asking her if she was okay would have been intrusive and unasked for... and yet I can't get the sight of her crying out of my head. FML
Today, I sneezed after watching a commercial involving dust. FML
Emotional support please
Today, I cried myself to sleep. Last night too, and the night before that, and the nights before those. But I guess that’s what life is, huh? FML
Sorry…
Today, I was falling in love with the nostalgia of having handwritten love letters and flowers left on my windshield. Turns out my "secret admirer" was just a mean prank conjured up by my coworkers. They laughed. I cried, hard. FML
Nervous
Today, I sat down to discuss wanting a promotion and ended up getting so nervous that I broke down crying in front of my boss. FML
Gene Cusano
Today, I was trying to get drama students to attempt to make themselves cry. I was not having any luck, until suddenly a girl burst into tears, sobbing uncontrollably. I jumped up to applaud, saying what a wonderful thing it is to have such expressive kids. Turns out her grandma just died. FML
Waning
Today, my spouse gave me the gift of hugging me. I'm so touch-starved, I cried. I can see our relationship crumbling but I'm the only one who seems to want to fix it. Our kid saw me and I can't even explain how sad it made me. FML

Reminds me of the King of the Hill episode where Hank goes to see "The Flowers of Time", which is one those Lifetime type movies. Then he starts (thanks to Dale Gribble for the description) "weeping like a little French girl" and everybody thinks it's because the movie reminds him of his relationship with his dad or son. Then they find out he's crying about his truck. What a pussy. I mean, it'd definitely be understandable if it was about his father or his kid, but his truck?! Maybe you were actually crying over something like your tv. Although if you were, I'm clicking YDI.

Ayame: with all due respect: you're a ******* dumbass who can't read for shit. I meant that OP is a pussy if they were crying over their TV. As in, the material possession. Not the commercial. I was comparing the situation of OP to an intentionally improbable one for absurdist humor. Maybe I should try dumbing it down just for you next time so dumb people don't take it literally (the South Park episode about hating gingers that EVERYONE took way too seriously comes to mind). THAT'S why I said it would be understandable if Hank was crying about his relationship with family going unfulfilled before one of them passes. Related to this, just as Hank is a pussy for crying over a material possession (ex: a Ford), OP would be a pussy if they were crying over an electronic box that displays pictures and sound. But that wasn't the situation, so I was showing that it is OK to cry over the bonds you share with another: "Then they find out he's crying about his truck. What a pussy. I mean, it'd definitely be understandable if it was about his father or his kid, but his truck?!" P.S. You're a feminazi bitch for whining over macho behavior. Oh what, you're gonna say that you believe in true equality and that I'm an idiot for assuming that? Well I don't really believe that feminazi comment. But you assumed I'm some macho meathead for my comment, and now you know how stupid it feels to read about somebody who assumes something. You made an "ass" of "u" and "me".
