Today, a customer yelled at me because the cherry pie he bought had cherries in it, and he wanted a refund. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, a customer at my coffee shop bitched me out because we don't sell cranberry juice. FML
Crisis
Today, I had a customer throw his purchase at me and demand a refund after I told him that, due to the national change shortage, I couldn't give him his 38 cents. FML
Today, a customer bitched me out, saying he wouldn't eat his vegetarian dish because it didn't "look vegetarian enough." He then demanded a refund and a plate of the same vegetarian dish. FML
Tetchy
Today, a customer pulled a knife on me after I informed him that we'd run out of avocados to put on his pizza. FML
Today, I told a customer that we don't do refunds. He responded by throwing his wallet at my face and accusing me of stealing it. FML
Today, a customer yelled at me so furiously that she sprayed my face with spittle. I had to stand there, smiling and politely explaining that I needed to see a receipt before I could give her a refund. When she finally gave up and left, my boss bitched me out for "provoking the customer". FML
Cashback
Today, when I told a gentleman that, no, he couldn't have cash back on his return without a receipt, he started screaming at me that I was calling his mother a liar. He told me to lawyer up and yelled at me for smiling at him. He also screamed at me to go on a diet as he left the store. FML
Dumbass customers
Today, I had a customer scream at me for ruining their child's birthday party. They had bought a Piñata from me and didn't know they had to fill it themselves. The kids had hit it open and it was empty. FML
Please leave
Today, I was cussed out by a customer who was unhappy, and he asked to speak with my manager. When I told him I owned the store, he said that that was the problem. Apparently women are "too flaky" to run a bakery properly. FML
Today, I got yelled at in a grocery store by a customer who recognized me from the pizza place where I work. Apparently, I forgot mushrooms on her pizza earlier this afternoon. I had the day off, but thanks for the verbal lashing, lady. FML

This is relatively common phenomenon known as stupidity, or the lack of general intelligence. It usually knows no bounds, and affects everyone in its wake.

So you're telling me, there are cherries in cherry pie?
EvilTurtle 35
That must mean that there's peanut in peanut butter
Llama_Man2000 26

Can a pie truly be considered "cherry" if so many have been there before you? Clearly the customer feels that wY

Seeing posts over the years about customer service, this doesn't really surprise me.

My immediate response, showing my best "are you serious" face would be to ask the customer what exactly they expected to find in a cherry pie.
