Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I went into my parents room to empty their wastebasket. Next to it and around their bed, I found tissues that were soaked in an unknown sticky substance. I had to pick them up. FML
Today, my mum, who always wanted more kids than just me, started crying because I'm not pregnant with her first grandchild yet. I'm 16, and this all started because I got my period and I asked to borrow one of her tampons because I'd ran out of my own. FML
Today, my grandma reduced me to a sobbing wreck in two short sentences, just to win a bet against my mum. FML
Today, my mother was guilting my wife and I for freezing embryos as a delay tactic to deny her grandchildren. Fed up, I told her, "Why don't you throw in a 'You'll miss me when I'm dead' to finish this guilt trip?" Now, she's crying and my father wants to murder me. FML
Today, I was working my shift at our local nursing home. I was assisting a "sweet", "innocent" 100-year-old lady, and she had a bunch of used tissues balled up in her lap, so I offered to dispose of them in the waste-basket. She told me that if I touched them, she would kill everything I love. FML
Today, I asked my mum why she never had any children after me. She scoffed and asked if I've looked in a mirror lately. FML
Today, my mum asked when she's getting grandkids. I had to tell her that, at 21 years-old, I hadn't even managed to get a boyfriend yet. FML
Today, I found out that my mom is doing a study and is keeping used pads in the freezer. FML
Today, my mom was talking about my grandma's approaching death. When she saw I was getting upset, she gave me a weird look and asked me if I was PMSing. FML
Today, my mother bought me some "biodegradable" tissues. Indeed, they melted… in my hand. FML

Well, you could've at least thrown them away or disposed of them.

I wonder how many billions of grandchildren she wants.

Try investing in a trash can with a lid. That or a girlfriend.

Dude.. If you're old enough to **********... And old enough to post on the Internet.. And old enough to have kids to make your mom proud... You're old enough to pick up your own mess!!

If you don't want to clean up, swallow the evidence :)

1. That's ******* gross, you must live like a pig OP. 2. If you are old enough to type this FML, you are old enough to clean up after yourself. 3. At least your mom was chill about it, I'd have put chili powder in your lotion bottle. Grow up and YDI

If your old enough that she's thinking of grandchildren you deserve it for still living at home and having your mum clean up after you.

I like how it says she "examined" the tissues. Why was she looking at them so closely instead of quickly throwing them away

YDI for not learning how to use a garbage can AND letting your mother clean that junk up. What is wrong with you? Gross.
