New look
Today, I went to get my hair done. The hairdresser managed to catch my eyebrow piercing in his comb and almost rip it out. I now look like I have a gunshot wound on the upper right hand side of my face. I'm getting married in a matter of hours, and I still had to pay £100 for the hair cut. FML

If anything I'd file a complaint.

Makeup? Or see if you could comb your hair over it?

This is why I take mine out when I get a haircut. It's not their fault. They're used to doing things a certain way.

Ouch. Next time, if it's possible, try to remove the piercing so you won't go through this again. If not, if you feel that the hairdresser is moving too close to the piercing, just remind him/her to be cautious. It's understandable to be a bit paranoid after this incident. Hairdressers tend to get used to doing things certain ways and he probably forgot all about your piercing. Congrats on your wedding! Don't feel too bad, I'm sure you'll still look lovely. Perhaps there's some make-up you could use to hide it at least enough to where it wouldn't be so obvious? If not, just keep it clean, try to get off any blood around the area as best and as gently as you can, even cleaning up the blood can make it a lot less obvious. Have a wonderful wedding!

I would have taken the piercing out. You could have avoided the whole mess that way. I hate to say it, but that whole mess was essentially your fault. Yeah, the guy should have been more careful but to be fair he may not have been able to see it depending on where he was standing.

FYL and YDI. FYL because you still had to pay, even though it was partly your fault for not removing your piercing they also did not ask you to remove it and were not careful. But YDI for leaving it on. I always remove all piercings before a haircut. It's just common sense; I'm not trying to be a dick about it or anything. Always remove all piercings close to the hairline before getting a haircut. Eyebrow piercings, ear piercings, etc... Sorry you had to learn the hard way, though. And on your wedding to boot! Sorry for that OP, I hope makeup or something was enough to hide it. But be more careful next time!

I don't pay for shit either! Who'd want to pay for that? I would, however, pay for services rendered. The hair still got cut, didn't it? Just, you know, leave out the tip.

Your getting married and have an eyebrow ring I think it was karma telling you to grow up

You're telling someone to grow up, yet you still don't know the difference between "your" and "you're". Oh the irony.
