Today, I was the maid of honor at my sister's wedding. I was the first one to walk down the aisle, where I managed to trip over a wire, shutting off the music and falling on my face. My family cheered and took pictures. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I was at a friend's wedding and caught the bouquet. Everyone cheered, until I slipped on the flowers and fell flat on my back. FML
Today, I was the bridesmaid for my dad and stepmum's wedding. As I was walking down the aisle, I tripped and fell over my high heels, hit my head on the armrest of a wooden chair on the way down, then passed out. I now have a concussion and a broken ankle. The wedding went on without me. FML
Today, at my wedding, my brother decided it would be funny to trip me as I was walking down the aisle, in front of hundreds of people. FML
Today, my sister and her new husband invited our family and my fiancé over to look at their wedding pictures. Turns out, I caught the bouquet and flashed the world in the process. FML
Today, at my mom's wedding, I tripped as I was walking down the aisle. I was holding the train of her dress. It ripped. FML
Today, I went to pick up my sister's wedding cake. It was a nice day, the shop was close, and the cake wasn't too big so I walked. On my way back, I stepped aside for a kid on a bike, tripped over my shoelaces, and dumped my sister's expensive, custom-designed cake. The wedding is tomorrow. FML
Today, I stood too fast, got dizzy, and fell over. I fell on the grandmother of the bride, pushing her into the wedding cake table. Cake ruined, grandmother in hospital for a broken arm, and everybody mad at me. FML
Today, I got married wearing a strapless dress. As I walked down the aisle, our wedding photographer stepped out behind me to get a shot of me approaching my husband. Instead of stepping out, though, he stepped on. Stepped on my dress. Pulling it completely down. FML
Today, I blacked out at a wedding as a bridesmaid, during the service. FML
Today, it was my wedding day, and while I was standing next to my husband in front of all of our guests, I was rocking on my heels because I was nervous. I rocked too far and fell backward. My husband didn't come to help me up. He just said at the top of his lungs, "FAIL!" FML

Was it a Justin Bieber song you shut off? If so, that's why your family cheered and took pictures. You're a hero!

Actually, you were the cannon fodder for the bride. You discovered the booby trap set for your sister, and everyone was cheering your valor and courage.

I wanna say sorry but every time I picture it in my mind I start laughing, I love it when funny stuff happens at serious times. Don't worry it's not the end of the world.

I call bullshit. The Maid of Honor is the last bridesmaid to walk down the aisle, not the first.

This happened to me too but my dress flew up flashing my red frilly knickers to the crowd of 108 people! At least they matched my face.

This is pretty tame... My first name is Nicolette & all of my life I've hated being called Nicole. I have nothing against the name, but it's not mine... My whole family & all my friends know this. I met with my Dad's friend, who was DJing my reception, 2 days before the big day to finalize our song list & he called me Nicole. I told him to NEVER call me that. Guess what he announced me as to the reception? What's worse, he denied it afterward... Ugh!
