Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I was at a friend's wedding and caught the bouquet. Everyone cheered, until I slipped on the flowers and fell flat on my back. FML
Today, I was the bridesmaid for my dad and stepmum's wedding. As I was walking down the aisle, I tripped and fell over my high heels, hit my head on the armrest of a wooden chair on the way down, then passed out. I now have a concussion and a broken ankle. The wedding went on without me. FML
Today, at my wedding, my brother decided it would be funny to trip me as I was walking down the aisle, in front of hundreds of people. FML
Today, my sister and her new husband invited our family and my fiancé over to look at their wedding pictures. Turns out, I caught the bouquet and flashed the world in the process. FML
Today, at my mom's wedding, I tripped as I was walking down the aisle. I was holding the train of her dress. It ripped. FML
Today, I went to pick up my sister's wedding cake. It was a nice day, the shop was close, and the cake wasn't too big so I walked. On my way back, I stepped aside for a kid on a bike, tripped over my shoelaces, and dumped my sister's expensive, custom-designed cake. The wedding is tomorrow. FML
Today, I stood too fast, got dizzy, and fell over. I fell on the grandmother of the bride, pushing her into the wedding cake table. Cake ruined, grandmother in hospital for a broken arm, and everybody mad at me. FML
Today, I got married wearing a strapless dress. As I walked down the aisle, our wedding photographer stepped out behind me to get a shot of me approaching my husband. Instead of stepping out, though, he stepped on. Stepped on my dress. Pulling it completely down. FML
Today, I blacked out at a wedding as a bridesmaid, during the service. FML
Today, it was my wedding day, and while I was standing next to my husband in front of all of our guests, I was rocking on my heels because I was nervous. I rocked too far and fell backward. My husband didn't come to help me up. He just said at the top of his lungs, "FAIL!" FML

Was it a Justin Bieber song you shut off? If so, that's why your family cheered and took pictures. You're a hero!

Actually, you were the cannon fodder for the bride. You discovered the booby trap set for your sister, and everyone was cheering your valor and courage.

Yes, the best man was holding his crotch, leering at the bride and mouthing the lyrics "If I were your boyfriend." Good job cutting off this abomination.

Who doesn't play Justin bieber at their wedding these days...
perdix 31
People with taste in music. People who can distinguish between musical talent and commercially hyped fraud. Need I go on?

People who don't have a loaded gun to their back. :D

If they are playing Justin Bieber at their wedding, they are too young to wed!

Oh my goodness, you poor thing. This is the sort of story that lives forever so you will have to hear about it at every family gathering from now until you are all old and senile. The only way out for you is if another relative has a more spectacular crash so start plotting your booby trap now.

That was rude instead of helping. I think it could've been worse.

No need to crash the wedding, op.

Who the **** puts wires across the aisle at a wedding? I'm sure that's not the only way the sound system could have been set up.

Well-played, perdix.

Well, you're supposed to cry at weddings.
BeforeItWasCool 12
And where does the OP mention anyone crying?

I'm assuming based on the situation. Anyways, I consider FMLing parallel with whining.

I would cheer too. Nothing cheers up the wedding like a fallen maid of honor. Only thing that might make it better is some sort of exposer after/during the fall.

Yes exposed boobies make everything better
