Today, I was talking to my parents when all of a sudden my dad started freaking out and asking my mom how I got this really bad allergy on my face. My mom just laughed, and then I had to explain to him that it was just my acne. The worst part is that he was dead serious the whole time. FML

Today, while looking in the mirror at my full-blown grease-spewing acne-riddled face, my father came up behind me and said, "Don't worry son, I had acne like that when I was your age". I replied, "No you didn't", and his immediate response while laughing was, "No, I didn't." FML
Today, I walked into the dining room to find my mom popping pimples on my dad's back. FML
Today, I finally came home from a semester of college, and all my parents and sister can talk about is how bad my acne has gotten. FML
Today, at Church, the little boy sitting behind me asked his mother if I had the chicken pox, because there were red dots all over my face. I've had bad acne since I was twelve. FML
Today, a little girl pointed to the acne on my face and said to her dad, "Look at how many mosquito bites she has on her face!" FML
Today, I finally saw a dermatologist due to my unusually severe acne. Now I know I actually have a rare disorder that makes me allergic to my own acne. FML
Today, I found out that the acne under my arms was worse then the severe acne on my face. FML
Today, I was diagnosed with a chronic pain condition. My parents seemed very sympathetic and my mother even cried. When we got home, though, they started laughing and asked if I really believed all the shit the doctor was talking about. FML
Today, I woke up with my eye swollen half shut. To spare the embarrassment, I asked my mom if I could stay home from school. She said no, but also attempted to make me feel better by saying that with my eye, my acne was unnoticeable. FML
Today, my dad drove me to the airport. As I got out of the car, he said, "You better pop that zit on your face, security might think it's a bomb". FML

He has been paying some close attention eh? Not! Good time to hit him up for some skin treatment, play the guilt card and cry just a little. If that doesn't work tell him if you don't get a boyfriend And get married you and your cats will live with him forever.

#17, the FML here is not that the OP has acne (but i have to admit: that sucks too) but the FML is the fact that the OP's dad is making fun of his/her acne by calling it an allergic reaction. So yea, you might want to read closely before opening that pointless, dark void you call a mouth

I've been in that situation. I have a cyst on my face, and people are being asses and asking if I'm going to die. I say no, they're all like "oh"

Acne sucks monkey balls. A good trick to get rid of acne is to leave your facewash on for 5-10 minutes before washing it off. It really helps.
