"You don't have the heart" is an excuse. Stop being such a little bitch and tell him straight up. Tell him NOW as opposed to LATER because it will hurt him FAR LESS. The most important thing in any relationship is communication and honesty, two things which you are not allowing by lying to him through omission. He won't mind in the long run as long as you show him how to help you achieve ******. You have a ********, he should know what to do with it. If he doesn't, SHOW HIM. It's really that simple.
