Call the fuzz
Today, I came home to my mother-in-law wearing the gold chain which I usually keep in a hidden drawer. I searched my drawer only to find out my chain was missing. I asked my mother-in-law if she took it and she keeps denying the fact that she stole it from me. My husband is on her side. FML

Shows where your husbands loyalties lie.. Banish him to couch land until he takes your side.

I hate that powerless feeling when all of a sudden you're the bad guy and liar and no one believes you, so I feel for you :( Maybe you could try to tell her that she's always free to borrow it, but you'd prefer she asked you first? (That is, if you don't mind :P)

Put a piece of jewellery that has your initials engraved on it in an inconspicuous place in the drawer. If she takes it and wears it, it won't be too hard to call her on it.

That must suck! You should put her on the spot and ask questions like where did you get it

Hidden drawer? Riiiiiight. Just 'cause you're jonesing for your mother-in-law's bling doesn't mean you can get your husband to get it for you with some crazy ****-and-bull story.

Shut up.

Here comes the bullying. Have you been working all morning to craft that scintillating reply?
