Today, my girlfriend decided we are ready for the next step in our relationship. Apparently that next step is her taking a dump with the door open. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me that I have the bad habit of not doing the dishes before he has his daily piss in the sink. FML
Today, I found my boyfriend playing games when we have 5 million things to do, but the bastard picked me up, put me in the hall, shut the door in my face, and barricaded it with the sofa. I texted him, threatening to break up unless he opened the door; he texted back to leave my key behind when I left. FML
Today, my boyfriend tried to spice things up by sneaking into the shower with me. Instead, he walked in on me pooping. I only had the shower running because I was afraid he would hear me taking a dump. FML
Today, while at my boyfriend's house, I needed to use the bathroom. I decided to be a good girlfriend and leave the seat up for him. He later yelled at me for not putting the seat down because he needed to take a dump. FML

If anything, you should be threatening to break up with him, not the other way around.

Tell him that’s fine. You’ll keep the door closed and if that’s a dealbreaker for him, he can go. This isn’t the kind of thing you should be expected to compromise on. It doesn’t affect him at all. And what’s next if you do give in?

This kind of power play most likely means there's something seriously wrong with him (or at least his upbringing)... I'd say risk it, call the bluff and if he really breaks up over it, you dodged a bullet.

I agree with a lot of these comments. my view is, just because you are in a relationship, doesn't mean you give up all rights to privacy and individuality. His attitude is very alarming, controlling and weird. Dont give in. If he breaks up with you over that.. you dodged a bullet, hun. Good luck x
