Maybe she wanted to have a little class and actually break up with him in person. It seems to be a lost art in modern society but hey, whatever. Obviously, OP's boyfriend already did it for her. Just ignore him and when he calls/tries to get in touch with you, tell him you thought the two of you were already broken up since he obviously doesn't want to spend time with you and then hang up. It'll take the neanderthal at least ten minutes to even figure out what's going on, and you don't have to deal with any bitching or moaning on his part.
