Today, I was telling my boyfriend about how self conscious I am and how I obsess about my weight. He said, "Don't be ridiculous, you don't need to lose THAT much weight." FML
Today, I showed my boyfriend a picture of me in what I thought was a sexy skintight dress. He responded by saying "it's ok, I went through a pudgy stage too". The picture was from Saturday night. FML
Today, after 3 months of my boyfriend complaining his weight is making him not want sex, I suggested we go for a walk to help us both start to lose weight. He looked at me and said, "You're too fat to go walking." I'm beginning to think my weight is the problem here, not his. FML
Today, my boyfriend of four years told me that I appeared to have gained some weight. After realizing that it made me feel depressed, he tried to make me feel better by making love to me. I decided to go with it. While doing so, he paused and said, "I'm sorry baby, but your weight is too much pressure for my back." FML
Today, my boyfriend encouragingly told me that he could tell I was losing weight, all because I had one roll fewer than usual on my stomach. FML
Today, my boyfriend suggested I try on some old clothes, after weeks of eating better and exercising. The good news: they fit again, and are even a little bit loose. The bad news: somehow, I look fatter now than I did before I started trying to lose weight. FML
Today, I was hanging out with my boyfriend. Everything seemed to be going well, when all of a sudden he turned to look at me with a pensive and thoughtful expression. I expected him to say something important, but instead he just said, "I was wondering, how does it feel to be fat?" FML
Today, one of my worst nightmares as an overweight woman came true. My boyfriend showed me a video someone had recorded of us exercising together, and who was mocking my weight the entire time. FML
Today, my boyfriend said he was no longer sexually attracted to me. He then followed that with, "But don't worry, it's not because you're fat." FML

Maybe he could have put it in a better way, and at a better time.. Like while you're grocery shopping he casually says, "Hey honey.. I think we should start eating healthier. In fact, we should get a membership at the gym too and lose a little weight together. " While it wasn't the best scenario, at least he included himself.

I know exactly what you mean - I think it comes off as voyeurism for people... and a tease to others (most people don't get naked then re-dressed while changing, they do a piece at a time) But, it was probably on his mind already - seeing you reminded him - he made a matter of fact statement about the both of you - doesn't sound like any direct criticism of you personally. Guy sounds fairly honest and grounded.

100, there's a few phone apps or websites that don't change it automatically. In fact, the FML app doesn't automatically capitalize each sentence beginning. I only do it out of habit. :)

I think it probably was the changing. He sees his own body pretty front and center any time he changes in a fully lit room and now he's watching her directly change. There may be a more tactful way of saying "we seem to have gained some weight over the last few months/years" but I wouldn't take offense to it.
