Today, my 97 year-old grandmother told me that if I’m not married and pregnant by the time she goes, I’ll be completely excluded from her will. She went on to say how shameful it is for a woman my age to be single, choosing college over a family. I’m 21 and studying to be an oncologist. FML

She comes from a different time when that WAS considered shameful. But it's shameful on her that she hasn't accepted times have changed. Beat her at her own game. Tell her it's her money to do with as she chooses and you're fine with whatever she decides. She's expecting you to beg and grovel for her money. You're going to be an oncologist, you'll do just fine in your career without her.

Sorry to hear that. I know first hand what it is like to have a toxic grandma. Live your life the way you want to and ignore her.

So, what kind of money are we talking about? Millions? If so, pop out some kids and continue your studies after you've cashed in. If we're talking a few grand and 2/5 custody of one of her smelly cats, tell her to **** off and keep studying those onks!

if you have a really cool guy friend just fake it till she kicks it.
